I’m hesitant to leave this review because this place feels like the best kept secret!! .. But I’ll be generous and share because it is so amazing. Husband and I visited for our anniversary weekend. This place may not be for everyone - not good accessibility, no valet, no room service, no front desk, it’s an old house so the floors creak - if any of that bothers you I’d recommend you go elsewhere. It’s a very help-yourself/choose-your-own adventure spot/ respect it and leave it things the way you found them place and that is what we LOVED about it!! Help yourself to all the food and snacks in the kitchen, full bar, and amazing other help yourself amenities. Who needs room service when you can sneak down to the quiet kitchen and grab food or drinks yourself! Staff is on-site if you need anything and give you space if you don’t. Since this is also a social club/coworking space there is pretty much anything you could possibly need in that kitchen. In the most wonderful way, it feels like you are visiting someone’s home, but since there are only a couple rooms it’s so quiet (at least on the weekends when people aren’t working there!) and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves even though there were a couple other guests. The natural light coming in through the windows at breakfast was magical, the carefully thought out sitting nooks, the attention to detail for each and everything here is amazing. It feels like a homey museum that I never want to leave! Great proximity to restaurants and shops too. Just generally wonderful - highly recommend this special spot for staying, if you’re local consider joining the membership and make this your home away from home (I’m so jealous!), or have the most amazing intimate wedding here!

Nice place. The old feel of the wood floors is a nice touch. The kitchen was modern and spacious enough for 10 guests while seating area outside held even more. The dining and sitting areas made for a tremendous amount of space. . . Unfortunately im still looking for my prescription glasses.

I needed to come to Louisville for work. Being that the weekend before, was Veterans Day weekend, I took the time to stay a couple days ahead of my work trip. The house was beautiful and after a tiny logistical snack the trip went off without a hitch. It is close to everything downtown and the start of the bourbon trail. The kitchen is the most amazing kitchen I have ever used! Keep in mind this is not a B&B (no staff on site and no breakfast served). My room was secure while I know other guests were in the house, we never crossed paths. I would stay here again and shared recommendations with the managers of items that would make stays a bit more comfortable.

We spent the weekend at The Butcher Rose and celebrated with family all weekend. The entire experience was fantastic!|Checking in was easy and straightforward. The beds were all extremely comfortable, and the bedding was very high quality, and just the right weight. The kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. There were more than enough glassware and plates. We enjoyed the gourmet range and extra large refrigerator, and the coffee makers were fantastic. |The Bar area in the basement and the beautiful outdoor patio provided hours of great fun and an immaculate vibe!|10/10 highly recommend. It's an absolutely beautiful space for all...
