About 6 years ago I bought an Emerald ring for my wife for Valentine's Day and not long after 1 of the Emeralds was lost down the drain. For years I have tried to figure out the best way to get this fixed and who in town did I trust enough to fix it for her. In the mean time I bought her Emerald earrings as well .... down the drain one of those went too. I finally found someone who thru all his great reviews not only from Louivillians but from ppl from out of state I thought I could trust. I brought him the ring missing a stone and 1 earring asking if the 2 could be made one. Larry took his time and was completely upfront that the stone in the earring would never work in the ring. He could however build a replica and match it, which he did. This beautiful human ordered a new stone for the ring and rebuild every clasp so she would never lose another stone and created a new earring that perfectly matched the one I gave him. First of all, it was one of the few places open that was close to my home. I had called and spoken to the owner about what I needed. He was very friendly. I told him I was at the doctor and could be there in about an hour. When I arrived he was actually " closed" , the sign said in the window. I called and he was there. He said he was waiting for someone, who happened to be me. How thoughtful and professional. He did exactly what I needed done to 2 watches in around 10 minutes. Very efficient. From the initial phone conversation he was willing to help. I took my glasses to him in peices. thinking he would say the same as all others.
