The orange chicken and sesame chicken were really good, as were the green beans. I didn’t realize the teriyaki beef would be breaded, and I think it would be better simply grilled with sauce instead of battered. We didn’t care for the crab Rangoon and didn’t think the fried rice was worth the up-charge over the plain rice that comes with entrees. While you do get a bigger container, it appears to simply be rice with soy sauce and a little egg. I felt the portions were fair for the price and overall we’d be willing to eat here again and give it another shot. Perhaps my rating would change after a second dining experience, but for now I rate it a solid average.

Don’t order from here. Would honestly give 0 stars if I could. This place is overcharging and under delivering… To say I’m disappointed is under statement. They are using the same oil to fry everything, the golden fried shrimp has little to no shrimp meat, and the fries rive is without flavor or vegetables- SAD. My old favorite Chinese spot actually made Chinese food and offered real value for tasty options. The warning I ignored is the menu offers Vietnamese and steak combo dinners. What a waste of $40 bucks. The last photo is what golden fried prawns should be (from Royal China- not in FoCo )

5-star rating based on my wife's meal, General Tao Chicken. We both opted for the Executive Dinner, which added Hot & Sour Soup, Shanghai Rolls, and Crab Rangoon, all of which were excellent, to our entrees. I had the Sweet & Sour Combination, and will not get it again; heavy breading and a lack of any flavor (except for the sweet & sour sauce) are not my thing. It seems a bit odd that we didn't know until well after leaving that the Osaka Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse part of the same restaurant; the host didn't give us a choice. ???

Came here to celebrate my child’s bday and were sat at the end of an ugly table (hibachi side)where all the waiters and waitresses were coming in and out of. Super loud. Tried to be positive since my kid picked hibachi for her special day but even in between grout on the tiles of the countertop where we were sitting had really old food inside of where the grout was crumbled out and not fixed, bad first impressions. I made sure none of our silverware touched that countertop. The lady who took our orders was prompt and courteous to start but then it didn’t last. I’m pretty sure when my daughter ordered her meal she said white rice and when they gave her fried rice, I said kindly I think she wanted white and instead of saying oh ok I’ll get you some, she tried to convince me my child said fried for a good 3 min. What does it matter even if she did? Get me some white rice, we are paying $35+ a person to eat here! Then our hibachi chef arrived and he was not the popular one unfortunately. He was boring and couldn’t get the egg trick right. He also undercooked the shrimp and my expensive tenderloin! I bit into one piece and it was COLD in the middle. I’m sorry but that’s not MEDIUM. If I’m spending close to $40 my beef better be cooked correctly. No way to even say anything at that point because he was cooking everyone else’s food (a couple we don’t know) and getting it on their plates fast so he could leave. It wasn’t the fun experience my kid or I wanted. The shrimp weren’t even good either. I felt terrible my family paid for this experience and meal for us and I left feeling scared I may get food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and get hibachi elsewhere. I do however, love their...

As this is the Covid Era of restaurant dining, the wife and I normally order takeout from their excellent mixed Asian menu. This time however, we decided to dine in and try the hibachi side of the restaurant. We arrived early, around 4:30pm and were seated by ourselves. There was already a large party of 8 at a nearby hibachi table and they looked like they were having a terrific time so we were excited to see what Canton Palace's Osaka Hibachi offered. There was a large selection of various steaks, vegetables and seafoods on the menu. The wife chose salmon and d allows and I chose shrimp and tenderloin. Although we were seated alone, we didn't have to wait long for our chef. Our waitress was very attentive and our chef did not disappoint. From an onion volcano to flipping shrimp through the air for us to catch in our mouths, our chef was fun and entertaining. The food was excellent and I have to day the tenderloin was the best I have ever eaten at any restaurant, hands down. My wife loved her salmon and scallops and the chef prepared all our portions exactly as we requested. My shrimp was also perfect and the fried rice was wonderful as well. We knew from our takeout experiences prior how good the food was, but to experience it on the restaurant and have it fresh was a treat. I can't recommend Canton palace enough, the traditional side and the hibachi side are both wonderful! Do your family and yourself a favor and the next time you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, stop by the...

Great food! Huge selection. The service was very cordial. Two issues though. The staff was still all masked up. That wasn't an issue but it did prevent good communication. When my wife ordered (she is hearing impaired) she asked about fried rice as a substitution for white or brown rice. The waiter nodded and then took my order. He asked whether I would like fried rice too. Well sure, I like fried rice. This is the first issue, the bill came with a $5.95 charge for two sides of fried rice. Not a biggie, but it was not clear in the robust menu or the interaction with the waiter (he was very kind) that this was an upcharge. The other issue was more of an oddity. This was a week night and we chose this restaurant as they were open until 9pm. We arrived a few minutes after 8pm. We did not feel rushed or expect to be. There was at least one other family that came after us. Everything was just fine. The food was great. But, somewhere around 8:30pm the relaxed atmosphere began to pick up. We just felt rushed. The waiter came back with the bill, removing extra dishes around 8:45pm. He had his winter jacket on. I thought he was leaving, so I wished him a good night. We were offered to-go containers, our bill was processed, our table was cleared and we left a...
