I went to Kohl’s today for the Ultimate Kohl’s cash giveaway like I do every year. Every year they have an associate that greets you at the door and gives you a kohls cash coupon which can be worth $5-$100 in Kohls cash that you can use that day in store. I didn’t see an associate, so I stood in line for a long time. There was only 2 people in front of me and I had to wait for over 10 minutes to be helped. The rude old lady that everyone talks about was who I had the displeasure of talking to and I asked if I could have a coupon because no one was handing them out. She has a stack of the coupons behind the counter and placed her hand on top of them and said “ you can only receive these when you check out” . I told her that wasn’t true, I said she is supposed to hand me one if no one was handing them out. She refused. I went to go find another employee. I had to ask 4 more employees whom all argued with me about it. Finally, I pulled my Kohls app out and showed it to the employee and said read your terms, they looked at it and said to hold on. Then the manager came up to me and asked if he could help. I explained my frustration and he started to argue with me. I told him it’s literally in the terms of the promotion (attached are photos). He then said “we don’t have any left” and I said “yes, you do. I saw stacks of them by the register.” I said I just wanted my promotional coupon and everyone is refusing and now he is lying to me. He did end up going and getting me a coupon but the fact that I had to argue with everyone in the store about it is ridiculous. You don’t have to purchase anything to receive the promotion. I can’t believe the way I was treated by all the employees. I will never return to this store. They should not be keeping them behind the register, and I hope corporate sees...
Read moreWas pretty disappointed in their customer service. I made an online purchase and had it shipped to the store. The woman that handle this transaction two days ago was amazing! Friendly and attentive, unfortunately when I arrived home I discovered there was a security tag still on the jeans and I didn't care for the shirt I purchased. Knowing they were having a sale, I dropped by to make the neccessary adjustments.
Not a single associate approached me and the store was in a disheveled state considering there were hardly any customers in the building. Found a cute picture frame & decided to make an exchange for the shirt (since I had accidentally left my wallet in the jeep). Managed my way to the back of the store and found two associates talking. It took them a few moments to acknowledge my presence before deciding to help me. The younger girl which chose to take my transaction never once engaged with me, walking through the whole transaction like a robot. There was no apology for the tag still being on the Jeans and the inconvenience of me having to return to the store to remove it. After stating I would like to exchange the shirt for the frame she processed the return without asking me how I wanted it refunded and automatically placed the money back on my card, leaving me unable to purchase the frame as my wallet was still in the Jeep. After telling her again that I was hoping to make an exchange and that my wallet was not with me she blankly stated "ok" and proceeded to move away from the counter.
Pretty poor customer service and uncertain at this time if I will return to this store...
Read moreI like Kohls in general! But this location is awful for returns or exchanges and good luck getting help with more than just quick question. So couple weeks ago, I needed to get an outfit for a nice business dinner. I asked the lady in women's for some help and was basically blown off. Got the quick answer instead of actual help. So today, I understand it's the day after Christmas so the line for customer service was extremely long, but once I got up there, I was at the counter for almost an hour trying to just simply exchange 2 items for 3 other items and pay the difference with Kohls cash. Not a big deal right? Well they had the computer crash, lost one of my Kohls cash slips and then tried telling me that I did a return and so one Kohls cash slips was no good. I finally told them I could go get everything I've bought from 3 transactions for Kohls cash to prove I have it all so manager came for 2nd time. Finally gave it to me but was a complete waste of my time and a headache. So 4 hours later I leave with 3 items! And going in Peru much knowing what I was getting. If this experience has been the first time then I'd blow it off. But at least a handful of times that I've done an exchange and every single time it's an absolute nightmare! So at a minimum, I'm done with this store if I have to return or exchange even though it's just down the street from me. I'll go to Fort Collins store when I'm in Fort Collins anyway instead of being pissed and...
