Well I can not give any stars for food cause we never received it. One of the worst service experiences ever! Ordered through the app, said order would be ready in 5 min, got to Sonic in 6 min, checked in through the app and let them know what stall I was parked at....15 min go by so we push the order button....another 6 min go by and we have now pushed the order button twice with no response. I noticed a car at the drive thru window so we decide to try going through the drive thru...at the speaker we wait for 5 min before hearing a 2second loud noise blare out of it...so my BF says "hey we have a mobile order" to which the reply is, "who's this for?"... boyfriend replies with my name but the next response was just more noise so we pull forward behind the car that I had seen at the window...this car is still waiting....10 min later the car in front of us is handed his food and we pull forward....another 4 min of waiting before kid opens window and tells us $8.02...."no we have a mobile order through the app and have already paid" we tell the kid...."what name?" He responds....again we tell him my name....kid closes window and stands there....5 min later he opens window and trys to hand us two slushies that look like they were indeed ready in 5 min as the app had said they would be however now it has been 45 min since they were ready and now they are half melted which is obvious through the clear plastic cups that I did not know Route 44 drinks even came in..thought the Route 44 came in the Styrofoam cups? Helps keep those slushies frozen right? I've never had a slushie at Sonic in anything but Styrofoam cups! Back to the experience...I tell the kid, "no, we do not want those! Look they are half melted! They have probably been sitting there for 45 min because we have been waiting 45 min! We want new ones made."....kid goes back in his window and we watch as he sets them down on the counter to his left picks up a rag and begins to wipe off the cups.... Then we stare in a stupid bewildered amazement as the kid opens the window and tries to hand us back the exact same two drinks that he had just wiped off! Yes the exact same two drinks that are half melted that we watched through the clear windows him bring them back in wipe them off and then try to hand us the same damn drinks!..... One of the dumbest moments I have ever experienced in my life don't get me started on what these kids these days are not being taught or whatever because they are dumber than dirt....we told the kid "no we told you we don't want those drinks, look at them they are half melted, we want new ones made!" He begins to go back in the window as I say "wait wait wait" but he just ignores us and closes window....try to wave and get his attention to tell him to refund us and forget it but shockingly, we are completely ignored...that was when we drove off. Now I'm not even going to get started with the customer service line cause that was just another nightmare...how does it end? Well I have a refund to look forward to in 7 to 10 business days and nothing for tonight...to the owner of this Sonic...how is your franchise still operating? I know it is hard to find good help but this is way beyond any kind of barely decent help. I am waiting for some type of upper management to call me back from the customer service hotline but while waiting on them, I will be sure that these complaints make it to as many corporate ears...
Read moreAfter reading all of the reviews I realize my experience here today could have been much worse. 20 minute wait, cold tots, no napkins or condiment I requested. By the time I finally got all of my food I didn't want to bother with the other things.
Decided to try this place months later via the app. The app took my money, l show up to collect, push the button and tell them I'm here for app pick up. I end up sitting there for 25 minutes and then they finally a little girl to argue with me telling me to come back later because there was nothing ordered for me, no payment received, and no management on duty. Eventually, after going back and forth with her, she agreed to make my food, but this is still the place nightmares are made from.
Had my order set for pick up at 11:05, checked in at 11:07, it is now 11:30 and still no food. My order was placed at 10:55am.
I'll never return.
Update 3/31/19 Sunday 1:43. Was at the Walmart across the street and decided to give this place another chance. I've been here 15 minutes, no order taken. Went to the drive-thru and waited a few minutes to be acknowledged. Nobody says anything so I start saying "hello" and still nothing. Then I notice someone else's order appear on the screen so I pull around because clearly there is an issue somewhere. I'm waiting behind the car in front of me. She gets handed food after a few minutes. It didn't take her long to hand it right back.
Cut to 10 or so minutes later -- the woman in front of me still has not been given her correct order. I still haven't placed an order.
All I want/wanted was a slush. I'm SO glad I'm not on any kind of time constraint. Going on 20 minutes later and I'm wishing I was a quitter.
Ooooh just got to pull up. The girl at the window looks like she is about to cry and says immediately "I can get you a drink or something like that but food is going to take a really long time." She was very relieved I just want my slush. And as sweet as can be giving it to me not more than 2 minutes after ordering.
I attribute all of my horrible experiences to management. How does this place stay open?
I love using Google to give my praises and share awesome experiences and find it sad that this can't ever be the case for Sonic in Loveland by Walmart. I almost feel guilt for writing this out. But then I realize it could actually help someone that does NOT have 20 minutes to blow at a drive-thru.

Read moreOne of the worst fast food experiences I've had in years. We were in a hurry and thought the drive thru would be the faster option since there was only one car in line ahead of us. Despite this and the fact that they were basically empty other than the drive thru we waited 20 minutes for food. The card reader wasn't working but we werent asked if we wanted to provide other payment, they took the card and ran off somewhere to run it elsewhere. Seemed sketchy and took forever. Once we finally received our food over half of our food items were incorrect and we were not given a receipt. We came back to exchange the food, waited another 15 minutes for the correct order however we were not provided with a receipt again and at this point I wanted to use my receipt to complain to management or something however because of the ridiculous way they ran off with our pay card she couldn't provide me with a proper receipt and said there was no phone number to call. I asked to speak with a manager about the poor experience. She took off for another 15 minutes a day came back out with a receipt for a refund basically saying that the manager didnt have the time to deal with us. The entire restaurant and parking lot was empty by now. I spent 45 minutes by this time, and I do appreciate the refund but to have had such a horrific experience and be told that the manager was unwilling to even talk to me about it was a slap in the face. The food was ok once we finally received the right order, and the one girl we dealt with was very polite considering how upset I was but I will never return to that Sonic and I hope the management sees an overhaul for the sake of...
