Norman's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Lower Makefield Township

Poor customer service and woman was very rude. I purchased candles from the Bensalem store day prior and called to see if they had the same candles. I was told they did but they were a different price. I went to the store and spoke to the woman I spoke to on the phone. I told her I was at the Bensalem store and got candles and I was also at the Allentown store and got them as well for $6.99. She said that Hallmark did not have a store in Bensalem that she was from that area. She then asked me if it was a Normans I said I thought so. She said I was lying to her. She called the Allentown store and said I made that price up. So I just left. Bensalem does have a Norman's Hallmark Shop at 215 Neshaminy Mall Bensalem PA. I could go back and show her my receipt but it is not worth my time to prove that she is wrong. I was willing to show her my online account to see the price and she said that was for online only pricing. Funny how if she actually read what was in my cart. "Pricing is for in...

Manager(?) was instantly aggressive and accused me of paying with a counterfeit $100 on a $50+ transaction. She was condescending and told me to go home and get different money. She interrogated me on my membership information and made me provide more information to keep on file incase the bill ended up being fake. I understand being hesitant to take larger bills, especially if you've had counterfeits in the past, and I'm sympathetic to it- I work in retail I get it,  but that's not a way to treat a customer. I have no problem leaving more information or having her check my bill but I'm disgusted by the way she spoke to me and the way she went about it. I had no idea that this was an issue at this location but she spoke to me like I was the sole person perpetuating it. Be kinder.

If anyone could refer a Hallmark to me where nice normal, women work I'd be greatly appreciated. My hubby said he doesn't even go in there 😱which he shared with me on our way out. He said, "don't you know how miserable those old women are!" 😜 I consider myself one also. But I guess I didn't realize how bad they were until I recently tried to return something 😳 My friend had a nice one in Doylestown, when I am up that way I will go check it out....
