Read moreThe place was under construction while we were there 12/22/24 - 12/26/24. We were not informed that the hotel would be under construction & we were still charged full price. The place smells of mold & mildew. It's the worst in the hallways, but our room smelled, too. Upon arrival, we were informed that I'd reserved with a request for no housekeeping. That is not true. I did not request no housekeeping. I did request a handicapped room, which we were given, but there was no shower seat. I called the front desk & they brought one. They said they keep them locked up because people steal them. ??? Seriously? Maybe they should install wall mounted seats like most hotels have. The have No Coffee or Tea for guests. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have coffee in the lobby available for their guests. Every hotel I've ever stayed in offers coffee & tea for guests. Not here. No breakfast, or even continental breakfast for guests unheard of! They do have a restaurant where you can buy coffee & breakfast. We weren't about to pay additional to get coffee or food. We bought our own coffee & half and half, and used the 1-cup Keurig coffee maker in the room so we could have morning coffee.
There were some positives. The room was large & it was easy to move around. It had the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room & the bed was pretty comfortable. We were happy to have the Keurig & there was also a small refrigerator. The positives end there.
There are tiny little bedside tables, barely able to hold items you might want to keep handy, such as tissues, a phone & a drink. There's a trash can in the bathroom that accepts trash & recycling in two different compartments. That's something I've never seen before & I think it's a nice idea. But there's no trash can by the desk/table that hold the coffee maker, ice bucket & glasses. We ended up taking one of the trash can inserts out & using it by the table for easy disposal of K-Cups & food related refuse.
The staff people were very nice & tried to be accommodating, but it didn't overcome the negatives we encountered. I will never stay here again. We visit the area frequently because we have family in the area. In the future, we'll definitely choose another hotel to stay. Seriously, no coffee for your guests? And we should definitely have been informed that the hotel was under construction & given some sort of discount for the inconvenience & lack of breakfast options. I've paid half the price we paid for this hotel & had 24/7 coffee...
Read moreThe staff here was very nice, pleasant, as helpful as they could be. The location of the hotel was convenient to Sesame Place (why we were there), and they offer a free shuttle there, which was nice. We got the suite with a living room and bedroom, so our kids could have a separate space at night. We are glad we got the 2 rooms for sleeping purposes, but overall, there are better hotels in Langhorne for less money with more amenities. First, breakfast is not included. Fine, but for almost $200, it seems like it would be nice. It cost us $30 for 3 kids' meals and 1 adult breakfast meal. This was all good. We also ordered dinner food from the hotel for 2 adult meals and it was also around $30. The food was also good.
