GALAXY NAILS — Local services in Lower Paxton Township

The first time i went to this nail salon I had a less than satisfactory experience. The man that did my nails didn't fill my nails completely to the cuticle so they grew out quite fast. He also screwed up the shape of my nails so bad. They were previously an almond shape. Then, on top of that, he told me my polish was dry and when i left, half of them got smudged! Well 2 weeks later when i could'nt take my nails anymore, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope maybe someone else was going to do my nails. I made a fill and pedicure appointment for my sis and I. Needless to say my nails were screwed up and smudged once again, and the pedicure was not exactly what I was expecting. My sister had glitter on her toenails so instead of using acetone to get it off they filed it off. Less than a week later her big toenail was cracked down the center. Will never ever go back. Horrible. I hope Galaxy reads this and takes this all...

New to the area and looking for a place to get a fill. I came in as a walk in on Tuesday evening and was greeted by Dan who was very friendly. Shop was not too crowded, probably due to inclement weather. Dan was awesome and I love my nails.

UPDATE: If you come here, ONLY let Dan do your nails! The other lady that was there did a horrible job on mine TWICE. The 1st time I requested cat eye polish and she used the magnet wrong and my nails looked like a purple mess. She had no idea what she was doing. Dan walked by twice ....and noticed she didn't know what she was doing but let get continue instead of showing her how to do it (and he had no customer at the time). The 2nd time I wanted chrome polish and they came out looking like a foggy film was over them. Just terrible. Will...

So disappointed in my experience, and I so desperately wanted to like it. My nails looked so bad at the end that I contemplated getting them completely redone. It was 5:30pm when I arrived for my appointment and he closed at 7pm. He seemed really nice in the beginning, but then told me he had a busy day and was ready to go home. He left for two smoke breaks, then got frustrated like he didn’t want to be there, and disregarded what I asked for twice. He literally told me to pick a dark nail color so the tips won't show when I said I don't want something dark, THEN, got frustrated that I couldn't decide what to pick if I HAD to go with a dark dip color. Make this make sense. I left in tears after being so excited to get my nails done for an event this weekend....
