We have shopped here for over 20 years at this location. I wanted to share with you one of our favorites Wise Market fried chicken. You can find this item located in the Deli. We normally purchase the 8 pieces (comes with a free 1 liter Pepsi product). It may be in a plastic bag or Cardboard bucket. They do offer smaller offerings too and hot sides. Today we went with Coleslaw and Cake. While on that topic the cakes are darn good too! Near the back of the store, you will find ready-to-heat meals. Everything from meatloaf, chicken, Stuff Cabbage, and such, can’t go wrong. I’m also hooked on the Weis brand honey bread! Plenty of self-check-out isles and staffed ones. I’m the type that still admires being greeted by someone in a store while shopping asking you if you need help and that happens at this location frequently. The store is clean and well-stocked. Prior to our filtered water at home used to buy water from the front of the store at the Reverse osmosis self-serve station. In short, if you’re looking for a lunch or dinner option try the Chicken and sides and don’t...
Read moreI want so bad to like Weis, but they seem to do more things poorly than Sears. Produce is extremely high priced, many items do not have to price marked, and items often ring up at prices higher than the price marked on the shelf (although not as frequently as it happens at Giant). One good thing about it is that IF you catch them cheating you on the price, the item is FREE. They've recently started a new and VERY ANNOYING gimmick of having practically every employee who sees you ask you if you need help. You probably won't be able to concentrate on reading a label without some phoney politeness interruption. Nevertheless, it is my 'go to' grocery store because there are never long lines at the checkout and the Weis & Value Time brands can be trusted for quality and reasonable price. And they recently started to give a discount to Senior Citizens...
Read moreDecent store, never have trouble finding a checkout. Lots of people working. Their fresh produce is not always fresh, and today, May 6th, while buying some oatmilk I see that the "best used by date" is April 18th. Why is this still being sold? Other than that, it's fine to stop if for a quick visit, I've found. Also, when I tried to do a survey saying about the best used by thing based on my receipt, it was impossible to find the "survey number"....... I have now revised my review down to a one: I have waited on the phone to talk to the store manager for over 10 mins. Really? This is your version of customer service? It's all well and good to respond to reviews that "we are sorry for your bad experience" but this is ridiculous. I won't be back. Giant isn't perfect, but they are head and shoulders above Weis in...
