Watch out for foreign items in your food! Tried going through our waitress while we were there she was horrible. Tried to contact the owner to no avail. The place is pretty inside and out. They have a huge bar, no blender. And there blackberry margarita was served WARM. 2 ounces in a 4oz glass. It didn't even have a taste, not worth the exorbitant price of 14$. Sounded good left a lot to be desired. Most in our party left the restraunt hungry, who does that! Ordered the ravioli there were 5 on my plate. Nothing else came with it. The waitress could have told us. She dropped off the food and ran, never to be seen again till dropping off the bill and taking the plastic found in our food. Never said a word about it. Lucky the person who received this treasure didn't choke on it. That was a lawsuit just waiting to happen. We were sat near the bathroom, inside the restraunt. Not sure if this had to do with the pesty flies. There were flies 4 we could count at one time, also were biting type, no one used the restroom so I can't commit on them. At least it kept us busy swatting at them while waiting for our food, which seem to take a very long time to come. Apperently everything is alicart. Which would have been nice to know. I might have ordered a salad. Although tasty, the five, 1 1/2 inch square ravioli, with 1/4 cup asparagus was not enough to fill up even a hungry child. Didn't think it would be couth to pick up my plate and lick it so I waved down a different waitress and asked for a roll to pick up the rest of the sause on my plate. I got a "yesterday roll " for an upcharge of 2$, which was not told to us prior to asking. And it is NOT stated on the menu. Live and learn and ALWAYS ask. The Cuban sandwich was all bun barely any meat. They stated the beer battered fries were good, but there were only 7 on each plate. Our health but got the veggie platter, he had the most food. The brussel sprouts were pretty tasty, he gave me a part of one to try. The best meal was the crab cake it came with a salad it had the best price the best taste and the best meal of our whole table. Although the next day the person was very sick who ate the 🦀 crab cake, not sure if it was related, but she got terrible ill no one else got sick. I don't eat crab so it wasn't for me. They could do better, we arrived at noon and they open at 11am, they were already out of salmon. There lunch special was cold potato soup and half tuna salad sandwich. Which that combo of that gives me the quivers. All in all a beautiful place however the prices are overinflated for the little bit of food that you do receive, anything you ask for anything for an upcharge that should be stated on the menu, or stated by the waitress at time of order. Seemed however they could pad the bill they did. 5 adults ate for...

2-22-2025 - Had a wonderful dinner at the Greystone Public House! This was our first visit to this restaurant. I made a reservation a few weeks in advance. I changed the reservation about a week ago to add additional guests. Every time I called the staff were friendly and helpful! The service and food this evening was absolutely amazing - 5 star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hostess sat us in their beautiful dining room, at a table with a gorgeous view of their outdoor patio and gardens. Our server, Debbie was friendly and very attentive. We never waited for drinks and our food came out of the kitchen hot! I pre-ordered an appetizer to have delivered to our table with our drinks. It was their Artisan cheese and meat board. This was delicious! Our dinner was exceptional! My husband had the braised short ribs. They were amazing! The ribs were tender and wonderfully seasoned! He also ordered a side of the vegetables and they were delicious! I ordered the salmon and it was perfectly cooked and so good! We brought a cake from an outside bakery to celebrate a birthday in our group. Our server Debbie had perfect timing! She brought our coffee and cappuccino and then lit our candles on the cake and brought it out to us so we could sing Happy Birthday to our friend! She then offered to slice the cake and served us each a piece of cake! Debbie provided excellent service throughout our dinner! One of their managers came over to talk with us during dinner. We let him know that our dinner was fantastic! We also met one of the restaurant owners, Kelly Viscount. She was so personable and friendly. She mentioned their menu will be changing. (Reading about the restaurant ahead of time, we read that the Greystone Public House has seasonal menus) We definitely need to go back to try their new menus! Absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing, friendly service and exceptional, delicious food! This restaurant has an upscale, luxury atmosphere however the dress code is dressy, casual, comfortable! Definitely make reservations when visiting! This restaurant is truly a diamond in the rough! An amazing dining experience in Linglestown/Harrisburg, PA at the Greystone...

My wife and I have been here three or four times already, and this has been an overdue review. I usually don’t write about any establishment until after two or,three visits, but I could have put this out the first time we tried this restaurant.Their offerings are always good, and what makes it exciting to go to Greystone is that their menu changes every so often; so there is always something to look forward too. Now despite an evolving menu, the service is consistent. You can expect to be well-attended to. Every staffer is knowledgeable and quick, friendly service always awaits you.

It would be unfair to review the food because, as I said, their menu evolves. Suffice it to say that the fare is always fresh and delectable. There are some items though that tend to remain in their offerings. One of them is the burger. When I go to a new restaurant, I make it a point to order something basic. By doing so, I can usually tell if I will be coming back. And having tried their burger, I will say that I have yet to find a better burger in the Harrisburg area. It’s flavorful yet unfettered by too many fixins. It’s stacked neatly, with just enough height to get a full bite without making a mess on your hands or plate. There’s nothing I dislike more than a very attractive sandwich that’s too thick to fit in your mouth. Best burger in Harrisburg. Fight me😄✌️

Parking is never a problem. The establishment has that modern-rustic ambiance. Outdoor and indoor dining is available, with health protocols in place. It’s great for lunch or dinner dates, or even for just a quick bite. They allow pets in the outdoor area, so that’s a plus. It might be a good idea to call, but we never had to wait long to get a table. Can’t wait to try...

When you first pull in the place looks amazing, especially the deck. There is an awesome covered area and the gas lanterns are so cool. The interior is also very nice, but the deck seems to be the place to site. Out server was extremely friendly and personal, but the drinks seemed to take a little longer then expected to reach the table considering they were not that crowded. I started with one of their signature cocktails, the Manhattan, it was on the higher end of the price scale at 14, but was a good drink. I switched over to an old fashioned with bulleit, also good, but everyone at the table was absolutely floored by the price at 19! It was a decent drink, but dang, they are charging big city prices for this stuff. I decided to get burger with bacon added. It was pretty good and the fries seem to be the way to go, very unique and tasty. Others got the Mahi tacos, they were on the smaller side and the fish was dry. Another ordered the crab cake sandwich with asparagus. The crab cake was good, but the asparagus was could wasn't quite as crispy as they usually like and it was salty. The big take away for me was the trickery with the fine print on the bottom of the menu. There is an additional fee added to every bill so they can pay the staff a living wage. I have no issue with an employer paying what ever they want and charging whatever they want, it a great thing about out country. My issue is it feels like they are manipulating their pricing with a fee instead of being up front and pricing their food to pay their employees what they feel is a fair wage, putting small print at the bottom of the menu isn't ok in my opinion. Due to the price gouging for the drinks and fine print fees I don't believe I will be back.

As a Harrisburg native & foodie who now resides in Philadelphia and loves the restaurant scene there, this place took me by surprise. They have a pretty sophisticated menu with some interesting and innovative cocktail offerings and a decent wine list. I came for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed my visit. I tried the sparkling pear cocktail which was light & refreshing and the mission fizz which was strong and flavorful. For appetizers I had the baked Brie which was very good but the bread served with it was way too hard, and a grilled wings which have a great flavor but I was thrown off by the sweetness of the honey. For entrees, the steak was cooked perfectly and the sauces that come with it are great (especially the salsa verde). I originally ordered the scallops. The waitress mentioned they were good but that it was a small dish with only three scallops. That was disappointing but I really had a taste for scallops so I ordered it anyway. 10 minutes later the server for the table next to us gave an amazing menu presentation and I learned that the special of the evening was a salmon cake with scallops and a butternut risotto. I really wish our server had mentioned or recommended that dish to me as I was looking for something more filling with scallops so that was perfect. Luckily the kitchen was willing to accommodate my last minute request. The dish was great! Salmon cake wasn’t dried out at all and the scallops melted in my mouth. I would recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special occasion or looking for a great meal.
