The reviews we read for Klock Entertainment and Ryan âDJ Puffâ Downes promised a wonderful wedding experience, and looking back, we were not disappointed! Our initial phone calls with Klock were informative and clear. The many options they offered allowed versatility depending on our price point, and we knew exactly what we were getting with what package and add-ons. As the date drew closer, Ryan reached out and had an extensive meeting with us over the phone. There were a lot of details to cover, and it took a substantial amount of time, but Ryan didnât rush us and made sure we understood everything we needed to make our wedding reception experience amazing for us and our guests.
When the day itself arrived, Ryan didnât disappoint. He confirmed our wedding details and set up everything exactly as we had envisioned it. The songs he played matched each part of the experience, from dinner to the cake-cutting to dancing. We were particularly anxious about finding the right DJ because we felt they are such pivotal venders for a wedding experience. Ryan had our crowd on their feet and having lots of fun, and this was true of our oldest and youngest guests. During the dancing toward the end of the night, he sustained peopleâs energy and made the whole evening a blast!
We had a few special requests, and Ryan made sure to note them. Not everyone asks for a showstopping âChicken Danceâ to appease the mother of the bride, but Ryan made it happen without judgement! When we werenât sure what the best times for certain pieces of the reception should be, Ryan gave recommendations that spaced them out and kept the momentum going. If the feedback of our guests is any indication, we werenât the only ones who believe Ryan Downes did a great job. We couldnât have asked for anyone better, and we canât recommend this company or this DJ more...
Read moreMy wife Shannon and I worked with Klock Entertainment to secure a DJ for our wedding in Hershey PA this past May and have nothing but great things to say! Lexi helped us initially pick a couple of DJ options and we ended up going with DJ Boost for our day.
The best part of the experience was meeting with Lexi and meeting with DJ Boost prior to our event, they took the time to get to know us, ask questions to understand the kind of vibes we were aiming for, the timing and cadence for things like our entrances, dances, speeches, and overall worked to understand how they can best be an impactful vendor that organized and delivered the type of DJing and Hosting we envisioned for our Wedding Day.
DJ Boost did an exceptional job of communicating with us day of as things got off schedule (I would anticipate this happening at pretty much every wedding, timing is just so hard on the day and unpredictable things will happen). DJ Boost was calm, comfortable, checked in with us repeatedly to make sure we were on the same page but also knew when to take the reins and do his job exactly how he knows to. He balances trusting his experience with communicating with his points of contact which felt critical! He played our favorite songs and also mixed in some hits that made sure to have everyone from kids to grandparents on the dance floor all night long! I would gladly vouch for DJ Boost and Klock to anyone who is deciding between DJ/Entertainment vendors for any type of event. They are easy to work with, fairly priced, and deliver exactly what you're hoping for. Thanks to DJ Boost for being a big...
Read moreI had just gotten married this past Saturday (8-12-23) and a lot was wrong with these services. I had inquired about gig bar and up lighting along with sound, which we talked about blue , but had denied sparkle lighting which was a different request. They forgot the uplighting and gig bar which I had paid for - website shows $1350-$1750 I was charged over $2000 for just sound. The DJ played the wrong song for my bridal party while they were walking in and changed it really quick, there were moments of silence in between songs, there was not an announcement for the cake being placed on the cake table, so I went home with almost my whole cake, the microphone stopped working before the bridal party was introduced and the worst part about this was I had been contacting the owner and he did absolutely nothing when I was emailing him, he said the staff at the hotel thought the dj was good, but unfortunately the staff didnât pay for the services. Thank God my best friend was a DJ (didnât want him to work on my special day) and took the mic from him to try to bring people on the dance floor. There was no direction through the process of booking because when following up with the DJ, he said another Meeting was not necessary before the big day. I had full faith in them, but am regretful. This took away from me living in the moment and I donât want anyone else to experience the same disappointment that I did. I still tipped the dj, because I feel it was the right thing to do and he was a nice guy, but I was disappointed with the services and the lack of communication and...
