Check your wallet and customer service expectations at the front door!! No greeting at all when we walked in, but both ladies at the front counter turned to watch us walk in! Not one person, staff or dealer, found us worthy of speaking to!! Even a simple acknowledgement would have gone a LONG way! Large store, well organized but outrageous prices throughout the store. Example.... a Little Golden Book at any other mall would run between $5 - $8 was $15!! I know Lubbock is in short supply of antique malls, but gouging potential customers isn't consumer friendly and won't pay the booth rental fees! Dealers at this store should be aware that snooty staff will run their potential sales out the door! We will find our treasures somewhere...
Read moreCould not be happier with Grand Central Station Antiques! This is the one antique store in Lubbock that I find myself visiting again and again. They have a VERY wide selection, and the store is laid out so nicely; it isn't overwhelming, just enjoyable. They have dozens of different sellers, each with different tastes and items. They are very organized and I have never found an item with no price tag. There is also a locker box for purses, and employees are walking the aisles and offer to bring the items you want to buy up to the front.
