DONT FINANCE!!!! I can't stress this enough! I bought a full size bed and was told by the sales rep the total with delivery was $292. I had to pay $43.30 to set up the financing so I went ahead and paid $60 so my total cost would be a little less. I was told to call the finance company after delivery to set up payments. When I called the finance company I was told they don't even get your records for a few days so I had to wait and call back. When I called back a few days later I was told my balance on my $292 was $316, even after my $60 payment. I asked the finance company about this and she said she didn't know the store is only allowed to collect the $43 finance charge (which is a fee for financing and does NOT go towards your total purchase at all) and she didn't know where the rest of my $60 payment went. I went to the store and they kept saying something about 6% and I should know that anytime you finance something there is a fee (even though they didn't tell me that in the store). I called the finance company again but honestly I was too upset to remember most of the call. I read my entire contract, something they didn't allow me to do in the store, they just said sign it. When I tried to read it and said I wanted to know what I was signing they said it just explained the payments they had already explained to me. I finally called the finance company back because NOWHERE in my contract did it mention a 6% fee and they said they charge the store a fee for the financing so the store must have taken my extra payment and used it to cover THEIR fee. Not only was I charged MY fee for financing, I was also charged THE STORE'S fee for financing and I was not informed by the sales staff of EITHER of these fees. They purposely mislead you, don't let you read the contract and it took 3 calls to the finance company and a trip to the store to figure out what happened to the rest of my $60 payment. They do have cheaper beds but don't buy unless you are paying cash because they will cheat you however they can with...

The Lubbock Mattress Sale has horrible customer service and the products they sold me were very low quality. I am 72 years old and I made the mistake of putting a mattress on Layaway as I am low income. When I finished paying, I went to pick up the mattress and when I arrived they told me that the mattress I had put on layaway was discontinued. They conned me to then pick another mattress that the promised would be the same price and same quality. I ended up paying 800 and when I brought the mattress home found out that they gave me a horrible mattress. The springs were coming out of the sides of the mattress. I called them to ask for my money back and they refused and I knew that if I took the mattress back they would not give me a better mattress. When talking back and forth with the people of Lubbock Mattress Sale they always talked to me very rudely and were never helpful or friendly. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. We bought a mattress for my mom here February 2018. I would not recommend this place to anyone. First, I was told they would deliver for free, but they added a $30 delivery fee. Then when the men got there to set up the bed, they could not get the frame together. They did not have the right tools or the right parts. They got it assembled after about an hour but they used bolts so long they were hitting the mattress. So my husband had to buy new bolts, take the bed apart and re-assemble. Then in April, when we sat on the end of the bed, the wood in the box spring broke . The sales ticket says there is a 5 year warranty. However, to get the warranty you have to take the mattress in, have them approve it with the manufacturer and then they "might" give you another box spring. We have always purchased from another mattress company here in Lubbock. We were in a hurry so we purchased from this company. The other company delivers for free and no matter what, they have stood behind the mattress, including picking the mattress up and exchanging for another one if we were not totally satisfied.
