We visited here on our New England trip summer of 2023. Lubec was the Sardine Capital with 28 factories, several right on this property and a lot of what is shown is of that era. The lady that was the hostess was wonderful. So knowledgeable of all the history and all the exhibits. This was very helpful because we had no idea what we were viewing, and she was able to make it all come alive for us. They even had the original “company store” in the same condition as original. The building used to be at a different, though close, location and it was moved to its present location some years later. They had a terrific display showing all that move and how it was constructed.
