We were fortunate to spend a month in Lubec this summer, so returned many times to this gem of a cafe. Both the owner and staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming to visitors. The coffee, pastries and sandwiches we enjoyed all summer were first rate, without exception. The space, the decor, the quality goods offered and the location simply could not be better. As an unexpected bonus, we were always made to feel welcome by locals, at the community table. If I came in solo while my partner worked, there was always company and conversation on offer.
