Ludlow is just on the edge of being...better. The town is still pulling itself out of the devasting flood from Hurricane Irene. Businesses are returning but the town needs a few more restaurants and shops to really shine. Okemo keeps the winter season lively and the local economy perking along. Local food shopping is pricey. The plaza itself isn't bad. The anchor is Shaw's and there's a Rite Aid that will absolutely screw up your meds. A realtor too. The problem is the tourists and skiers who behave as if we all exist only to serve them. They crowd the Shaw's all at once and altho Shaw's staff does their best, the out-of-staters descend like a plague of elitist locusts. They don't understand personal space or...

Shaws and rite aid visits. People are helpful at both places. Both clean and stocked. Parking lot is sometimes a nightmare. Vehicles often park behind the far right handicapped parking. It doesn't look like a parking spot if it is, it shouldn't be. There are actual spaces just before that spot...
