Mojo is the place to go. There is no other restaurant like it. I am from Vermont and my husband is a Texan. Mojo catered our wedding and hosted our entire wedding party two nights before. Our wedding party is a rowdy group of Texas men who swear this place is better than their home grown Tex Mex. A local favorite, owned by locals, run by locals you can't get more Vermont... but you also can't get more deep south. John and Jodi have scoured New Orleans, Austin, Memphis, Nashville you name it to get the tastes of their restaurant down to the hot sauce. The food is incredible and will transport you to the streets of NOLA with your first bite.
On top of that, they are an AMAZING caterer. Completely unique. Will absolutely be talked about for years to come from our wedding. They personalized everything (even named the hit dish after my husband (Drew-B-Q). Put out chips, salsa and guac on every table and even gave the bride her favorite dish even though it was a pain to do out of a food truck! Their set up looked amazing and completely matched our theme. Our guests thought it was the coolest thing to have a food truck at our wedding instead of a sit down dinner!
Jodi and John made all of the logistics extremely easy. You can get in touch with them immediately, they are extremely flexible and they are absolutely affordable. Great business people and I knew I never had to worry about them (which is huge for a bride!)
You will not find another couple that puts more love into what they do. They have made their restaurant as they live, and they welcome all of us like family. I highly recommend, at the least, a visit, but absolutely use them for your wedding too! I...
Read moreAmazing locally owned and operated Tex-Mex restaurant. The owner and head chef John has designed a great dining experience with his modern take on classic foods. The menu changes regularly with staples of the menu always being offered. All ingredients that can be are locally sourced and the rest from high end retail services. The beer and wine selections rotate regularly to offer something new every time you go. Most beers on tap are local and craft made like Trout River and Long Trail. They do offer national brands as well for the not so adventurous. The atmosphere is up beat with modern rock, blues and some pop in the air and modern aesthetic for the art on the walls, murals done by local artists such as Jake Goraj and my personal favorite the tap handles from all the previous beers adorning the moulding all around the walls. An open kitchen right in the front allows you to see them cook the food and if seated at the bar, you can even have a conversation with the cooks as they're at work. Definitely a go to favorite for anyone...
Read moreI had wanted to check this place out for a couple weeks and am so glad we finally went. The food was phenomenal! We Had various tacos, The fried poblanos and my husband ordered the yakamain which was a special and so so good. Perfect food for after a long cold day on the Mtn. We got here early around 530 and found some seats at the counter on a Saturday night. It definitely got much busier as we’re there since they do a lot of take out too. This is not a place with a lot of tables or ambiance, but we did enjoy watching the guys in the kitchen crank out some food. You have to order on your phone like a lot of places here in Ludlow but the customer service is still awesome! Out of all the restaurants we’ve tried here this is...
