Stopped by here last night when the place next door (Tacos Tacos) was unexpectedly closed. What. A. Surprise. Thank you Tacos Tacos for being closed because this place knows how to make good food. And I am only talking about what was left. By the time I got there, the full menu was no longer available (she cooks for the day, when stuff runs out there's no more left). I ordered a 1lb of her pasta salad, 1lb of her soba noodle salad, 1lb of her steak (it was perfectly cooked, so tender and tasty), a 1lb of her lemon crispy chicken, and one of the Congo bars (a chocolately scrumptious dessert). Read moreMy boyfriend and I stopped at The Cookster on our way to Okemo for a ski weekend. We both thoroughly enjoyed a generous serving of Cowboy Pie. This hot dish was a combination of spiced beef with onions, Poblano peppers and tomatoes layered on top of a hearty mixture of corn and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes! It was literally the PERFECT meal to have prior to hitting the slopes. My family and I were staying in the solitude lodge area and figured this would be a great place to grab a quick dinner and go home after a tiring day on the slopes.
