The amount of racism my family dealt with in this studio was SICK. The teacher called my daughter’s hair “Nappy” and asked me to straighten her curls!! My daughter’s 5 years old and her hair was in braids and up in a ballerina bun. And the way All the staff looked at my family especially my husband. We all felt very judged as did the rest of my family! My daughter even refuse to go back again because she said “the other little girl look at me funny and leave me out of stuff” once the teacher sent a picture to the group chat where my daughter was in the back with the saddest face on. The dance studio does such a wonderful job nurturing & teaching their dancers. "Prima" mentality is not tolerated here, & as a result ALL the dancers encourage eachother as well. During the staged class dances, the best students are placed front row, BUT there is always a rearranging during the dances so EVERY student gets their time to shine...

The teachers are awesome. Everything is very nice and relaxing when they put on a show. Mr. Jim is a wonderful person and it reflects throughout the dancers. Everyone including the parents are very friendly...
