Sugar Kraze — Restaurant in Luzerne

My mom ordered a cake and another dessert from Sugar Kraze for my bridal shower that is next Saturday. Two days ago my mom receives a text saying her order needed to be canceled due to having a family event she just found out about… the owner texted my mother (she didn’t even call). That is so unprofessional! That was only the first issue. Let’s talk about how she canceled an order for a bridal shower giving my mom just a week to find someone else to do my cake. My mother placed this order a month ago. My mom responded letting her know how she can’t believe that this is happening and how unprofessional it was, to which the owner responded with “Again you are finding out in real time just like I am”. Who owns a business and responds with a sentence starting with again, that came off extremely rude. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Thankfully my mom found someone to do my cake with such short notice. Imagine if this was my wedding cake being canceled a week before because of a random family event coming up. Very disappointed and hope whoever orders from this business actually has their order completed, and if they do get it canceled, they at least receive...

This place just opened recently, on April 1st I visited sugar kraze to make a purchase - as soon as I walked in I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! It's very clean, very bright, there's candy & baked goods clearly visible. They do carry some well known candy such as nerds Etc but the cupcakes are to die for! Not only are they visibly delicious but I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into it - the center has filling, most cupcakes don't have that little treasure! I purchased two Orange creamsicles & two chocolate raspberry mousse, both were exquisite! They do have a Facebook page, they do accept credit cards & I would encourage everyone to check out this little gem hidden in plain sight! I've seen this building before, it used to be Frank's Market on Chapel Street in Luzerne. It took them a while to renovate & get ready. I am very happy to see this building back in operation, especially with the pandemic it could not have been easy to try & open but they did, I believe it was March 1st.
