On July 12, having highlights added to my 6" dark roots was my idea, but the girl applied bleach from my roots to the ends of my bleached hair while at the same time causing total damage to my hair; instead of bleaching my natural DARK hair FIRST, like anybody else would have done it then the rest of my bleached hair she did it ALL AT ONCE?? probably longer than 40 min. The color was uneven since the roots were DARKER and the bleached area got lighter. Horrible, horrible, horrible. When I came back to explain my issue to the owner's daughter she offered free treatment, was told to come back the next day. The same girl that damage my hair did the treatment she had an attitude talking about "I am giving you free treatment value of $80 to repair my damaged hair like she was the owner. Don't care about your free stinky $80 treatment " It didn't work." I end up cutting all my hair super short, my hair total disaster looks like gum. 4 weeks prior to highlights same girl did the Keratin on my hair, I don't know much about hair so if she is a professional she should have said to me due to this recent process we cant do anything to your right now we have to wait at least 3 months before adding highlights, she did not mention that instead she said "yeah sure we can do it". Be aware of the employee that works the front she doesn't have experience, if don't believe me have her bleach your hair..cuts hair all crooked!!! I saw her cut some lady's hair it was uneven. I should call the department board of Barbering & Cosmetology or the Dept. of Consumer Affairs to file a complaint and ask for my money back since I spent $186+$20 shampoo + tip. It took me two years to grow my hair, and due to medication, my hair is very thin and grow very slowly. They made me cry :( now I look really bad and ugly). In a good establishment and professional hair salon the hair stylist should be checking on hair often to assure that hair isn't being over process, usually owner double check the job being done by their workers this didn't happen here. The place is nice clean and cozy but that isn't really important when you are trying to get a nice job done on you hair. We are being treated like if we are not important like if we don't know anything about style and good quality stuff, not just because some of us are latinas we should be treated like if we have no class. Never under estimate or judge a book...
Read moreI went for my second round of bleach to get how light I wanted for the balayage. Not only did they leave it so uneven, when I nicely asked them to fix it they agreed and still left with something that I did not want. They made it seem like it was my fault like I’m the professional stylist. They were trying to charge me $95 extra to fix it but ended up doing it for free. They toned it and some parts were still yellow and tried to say it was on me for not asking for the right treatment for the balayage again as if I’m the professional and was supposed to know. Oh and at the end of my appointment for them to fix it they left me walk out with my hair soaking wet they couldn’t even blow dry it after they messed up in the first place. DO...
Read moreI went in asking for a trim of my grown out pixie cut. I explained what I wanted and showed the hair stylist pictures but she still managed to mess up my hair. She didn't wet my hair or part it, my layers are very uneven and there is no symmetry of the hair around my neck line. On the left side of the back of my head the hair is short and on the right, the hair is noticeably much longer. What's worse is that I even tipped her well. I am very disappointed and will...
