PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBSCRIBING TO ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!! I have received 4 packages with the "welcome box subscription" (and a large box with exactly the same contents as the box I had already got for that month, and was charged even more for the duplicate package I didn't even order) and everything is so cheap looking. They ask you for your favorite brands when signing up, but let me assure you: everything they send you will have either no brand on it, or be a brand you've never heard of! Then they send you a card saying what they've sent you is worth some crazy amount of money, but they're so generously only charging you 5 bucks for it. A purse/tote bag I received fell apart at the stitching within 2 weeks of receiving it, but they claim the purse was worth over $100.00 in value. They have screwed up my order so badly that I actually received the exact same package twice in one month, and got charged the welcome box price, and the large box price!! I have called and emailed and still have gotten no response from this place!! IT IS A TOTAL RIP OFF AND COMPLETE SCAM!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I'm adding this comment to my rating after reading your response to my review: I DO NOT have 2 subscriptions, Im still trying to cancel the ONE subscription I somehow still have. I also included my phone number in the email asking someone to call me because i still have not been able to speak to anyone about these problems. I called the phone number listed on your website 7 times today alone. I still have 2 identical purses and 2 identical head band/warmers. I almost sent them back as "refused return to sender" but I figured I'd never get my money back if I did that, and the first purse I received fell apart within 2 weeks. As far as the name brand items you all advertise, I have only received one product made by any of the brands you listed above; a Lily Pulitzer notepad. I don't usually give such negative reviews, but after the problems I've encountered with this company, I am beyond frustrated. I couldnt get a call or email back after weeks, but I write a bad review on Google and you all almost instantly respond?! The initials on all my orders are MGL. I don't know what other information I could give you to identify my subscription without posting my private info publicly on the internet. I received an email stating that a specific pullover would be in the box and was wondering what size I wanted as it runs small. ((My mother had already got the same exact pullover for her and she didn't need another so I told them to put my initials on there but my sisters monogram needed to be on everything else. They agreed that it would be fine and reiterated back to me what I wanted to make sure all of it was right. It was, so I confirmed it!)) Well, my November box comes and first of all, it only had 3 items in there (just TWO of them were monogrammed). Second of all, it had my initials on both. My initials were only supposed to be on the pullover and my sisters initials were supposed to be on the bag. ((Also, I told them multiple times that it was for my sisters Christmas but they still only sent 3 things?? When I hear "deluxe" and look at pictures of this deluxe box on the website, it looks so great! But unfortunately it wasn't. I'll never understand)) But I immediately emailed them to get things situated, and in the meantime, they weren't reading my emails correctly! I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. Thankfully they did fix the bag and I now have one with my sisters monogram on it. I finally got so fed up and just asked for a refund on my December box that had drafted on December 1st and I asked that they cancel my subscription altogether. They told me that wasn't an option and basically that I was SOL. Well, my December box came and guess what?! There was only 4 items inside and THE MONOGRAMS WERE WRONG! Seriously, we confirmed it multiple times so I don't see how it got so messed up! After many emails today, they finally agreed to cancel my subscription. ((This time they did not offer a redo on the wrong monograms!!!)) Still fighting with them to get my money back! I've now spent double what I wanted to on my sisters Christmas because of this pathetic place!!! If you ever need monogramming, PLEASE call someone else!! Don't waste your hard-earned money or your time on these people! It's not worth it!!!! Trust me!!!! Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely leave reviews but my first (& now last) experience with Ginny Marieās was honestly horrible. On October 15th, I ordered a sweater dress from their website. I paid via PayPal and did it for a pickup order at their Macon location. The email I received with my order confirmation stated that their hours are from 10-6. I get off of work, get ready and head to the store and arrive by 5:30. Mind you, this is an exactly 40 minute drive from my house. I walk up to the door & the lights are off and there is a sign that says their new hours are from 10-5.
So I message their Instagram, and say āis anyone still at the store? Google and the email I received says yāall close at 6 and I just drove 40 minutes to pick up my dressš the Macon store that is :/ā it gets read and no response. I then message them again and say ādisregard. Can we just cancel my order? I just wonāt have time to come get it after todayā They read my message AGAIN and no response.
The next morning, I call them as soon as they open, and it goes to voicemail. I call them about 5 more times between the time they open and 1pm and no answer. I finally decided to message their facebook page, and as SOON as I send my facebook message, they read it, and I finally get a response back on Instagram. The response says āWhats your address? We can ship it to your house for freeā... girl. Lol. Like for one, I needed this for an event Saturday and for two, not one apology for your mistake?! So I tell them no and that I want to cancel my order and want a refund. Hereās the best part, they tell me to email the person who handles their refunds, and i get an automated email back from that person saying they are out of office until October 21st LMAO like so now I have to wait another 5 days for a refund.. for once again.. yalls mistake.
Long story short, they clearly need someone who knows how to manage their Instagram and someone who can be professional enough to RESPOND & APOLOGIZE for their mistake.
