Would never recommend any to go to this store. Please take the extra 30-60mins to visit another location. Your time will be appreciated and respected. Just read the other reviews. The manager, Mindy, I believe, was absolutely rude. I live 4 hours from this store but one of my phone plan users lives about 30mins. We ordered the phone online, it said it was ready for pick up. My user went to the store to pick it up and encounter Mindy. Mindy was very rude to her and told her the phone was ineligible for upgrade, even though we already processed the upgrade online. I get on speaker phone with her and am informed she's cancelled the order and there was nothing she could do. I then ask her if she called her support team to resolve the issue, to which she said "not my job" then instructed my user (who has said two words) to leave the store and not return. I immediately call customer server, 611, and report the incident. They proceed to re-order the device and set this same store as pickup. Before having my user go back to the user, I had the ATT rep call the store to confirm they could pick it up. The manager, Mindy, again, tells the rep she is not allowed in the store and then hangs up the phone. Customer service is shocked as much as I am. ATT Corporate has a complaint open and investigating this franchise managers actions. I've also reached out to Prime communications (authorized retailer franchise company) to file a complaint. Later, when trying to pickup at a new location, we find out Mindy cancelled our second order marking it as fraud, causing us more troubles to get a phone at a new location. I got the next day. I got the Internet thing and I put it in at night with no problems and then today I got the direct thing I havenāt got to work on that yet, but he was awesome in very nice and very business life. But I made a boo-boo when I tried to fill out the survey. I thought one was the best so I pressed one and then I realized thatās the dislike thing and I bought oh my God what am I gonna do so when I did, I deleted the one and the next question I put a five for the best but they didnāt like that. So I put a little note in there I donāt know. I went to the office to the AT&T store today and the he wasnāt there but the I donāt know who it was. It was his boss I guess and I talked to him and he said but no no problem. They would get that straightened out but so he said well you couldnāt put a a message on this so on Google so thatās what Iām doing. He did a great job and I was horrified when I saw that it said one was a dislike, but anyway, I hope that it gets straightened out cause he really deserves the best a number on that survey...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited the AT&T store in Seymour, and the representative there was excellent. He explained a deal for 6 lines, and after discussing it with my husband, we decided to switch our phone service from our current provider to AT&T.
When I went to the Madison location with the printed quote from Seymour (which listed the pricing and discounts), the manager there told me he couldnāt honor it because he ādidnāt know how to do it.ā When I asked if he could reference the paperwork from Seymour to make it work, he still insisted he couldnāt help.
This was very frustrating since the offer was clearly presented to me by another AT&T store, and we had already made the decision to move our services based on that information. I would like to understand why one location can provide a deal but another claims they cannot. I even let him know that the guy in Seymour said if they had any issues that they could give him a call and the manager here refused...
