FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! Low Prices Many places you go, the sushi consists of too much rice, and you feel like you paid too much. The Sushi Bar in Madison serves VERY fair portions of ingredients, and a quality of texture and flavor that makes you want to come back! Additionally, they always have a roll of the day, which they sell at a discounted rate. Great Service They are usually very attentive with refills, and if you’re ready your order is taken fairly quickly! They are very friendly and hospitable as well. We usually don’t have too long of a wait, especially when taken into consideration the quality of the food. Overall, my husband and I have fallen in love with this restaurant- we eat here when we are able to as it is a thirty minute drive for us! The sushi is easily the best of any I’ve tried in southern Indiana, and my husband and I love sushi! They have cooked and raw food.

This is a Chinese restaurant masquerading as Japanese. If you've had sushi anywhere on the West Coast you will be disappointed. The rolls are made with basic, cheap white rice, not sushi rice. The dinners are served on a fajita skillet. The sauces are not authentic or even tasty. The meat was dry, noodles overcooked. I would not recommend it. The exterior is an indication of the condition of the interior. There are restaurant supplies in the middle of the dining area. There is zero ambiance. I would never go here for a special occasion/date night. No music playing. You could see the cook drinking a beer, chewing his food while cooking. The staff was pleasant and attentive.

Great food, the main rolls are a bit expensive @ around $10 a piece however they have a 3 roll special for $13.99 not the fancier rolls but still a great price. Wife and I got one 3 roll special each (one tuna, one California and one salmon roll) as well as two of the main rolls. One Birthday roll and one Tiger roll ( they were both delicious!). 8 rolls for under $60 and we were full.

This was literally the worst food I have eaten in years. I don't know what the people giving good reviews ate or if they've ever had decent sushi before but I wouldn't even feed their food to a starving stray dog. I've eaten at a lot of sushi places and never had anything as bad as that. I've even eaten gas station sushi that was better. Our food was heated in a toaster oven that we could see from our table and we were served by an 11 year old boy. Which, I'm sure is a violation of several child labor laws. After eating here, my stomach was in excruciating pain and I felt very sick. If you're thinking of eating here, don't. Go across the street to...
