For flowers - Go to Sunnywoods in Chatham or Colly Flowers in Morristown instead....The people in the flower department cant be bothered.
I have lived in Summit and now Morristown my entire life and have been going to J and M for as long as I can remember. The garden and home sides are great. BUT -I have had multiple issues with the women in the floral department over the last 2 years and shame on me - I told myself never to go back..and I did....
I went in yesterday and it was quiet - albeit mother's day weekend - I needed a bouquet for a pick up at the airport. I was directed to the window and fridge room. 2 women were talking behind the window while putting together flowers - I waited for them to acknowledge me and I asked if I could trouble them and she said 'it depends' - I said I was looking to put together a bouquet of flowers and the woman said go in and pick out what you want - I said - I know but I am not great at pulling flowers together can you help me? She said no - she was too busy. Flat out - no smile - too busy - COULDNT BE BOTHERED - couldnt direct me to someone who could -
Issue is - exact same thing happened to me there last year.
Then before that - on another occasion r I ordered 2 separate dozen roses to pick up 3 days apart but paid for them in the same call. I went in to get the first dozen and they tried to give both - which I pointed out would mean the second dozen wouldn't be fresh. They said well you paid for them....needless to say it was a discussion to get reimbursed and trust me the woman had an attitude - that I was being unreasonable.
SO again - for flowers go to Sunnywoods in Chatham or Colly Flowers in Morristown. They love what they do and it is clearly not just a job...
Read moreThis garden center initially appeared small, but it is surprisingly expansive.
The establishment offers a diverse range of products, including apparel, indoor and outdoor plants, soil, planter pots, outdoor furniture, and more.
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking to support a local home and garden shop in the area.
Initially, my colleague and I believed we could explore the entire store within 30 minutes before closing, but we required additional time.
Today, I visited the store to purchase a shallow pot for my ginger root plant and soil for my cherry tomato plants. The prices were more favorable compared to larger retail chains.
I will provide a photograph of my repotted plant once the process is complete.
One last thing I'd like to point out is that when they close at 6 pm, they mean they close directly at 6 pm, which I appreciate. Long days of work and...
Read moreToday I returned to J&M to again purchase a ZERO - G garden hose which I bought from them two years ago. Yesterday the ZERO - G ripped on me, water all over the place. With this hot Summer weather you really cannot be without a garden hose, so back to J&M and hoping they had them in stock. They did .....
When it came to paying I asked them for a discount, because the ZERO - G garden hose has a warranty of five years. They went two years back into their computer system and indeed found proof of my purchase. Without any ado I was given a replacement. I am very impressed with the service J&M provided, THANK YOU...
