I was in town and drove by - stopped to see what this place was. Located on Main St with parking along the side of the road. It's a small place with some seating inside and a menu hanging on the wall. The person who helped me was pleasant and helpful. At 1.30pm there aren't a lot of donuts to choose from. There may have been ten total split among three different flavors. It's best if you pre-order what you want so that you can get them. The donuts here seem to be hot commodities. I love, love, love Sugarlips Donuts. They are consistent in flavor, appearance, and overall yumminess. During holidays and special times of the year (such as Halloween as I am sharing) Sugarlips does a really great job hand-decorating each donut. They are so yummy and adorable that I have started using them as holiday gifts for our building tenants and other work associates. When available, make sure to order/try out their donut pops. They are not always available but they are an actual "pop" made out of donuts and dipped into chocolate. If you want a truly high quality donut (along with high quality coffee with locally brewed beans), then this is your place. You simply cannot beat a place where the owner fills every role in the shop. She truly cares about what she's doing and it shows. She doesn't have a huge selection of donuts, but there is something for everyone. Judge it with the standard cake donut and you will taste the difference. And, as mentioned, the owner said she tried several commercial beans for the coffee and found them all sub-par so she serves coffee from locally roasted beans.
