I drove an hour to watch a movie and the Internet isn't working so it's cash only. I never carry cash and I don't know very many people that do. I wasted my time on my day off as well as the gas to get here. I like to support smaller businesses but not if you can't have things running properly.
I found an ATM down the road to get cash and paid $3.50 to get cash to be able to see the movie. When I walked in, there was a lady with 2 girls to see the same movie. She told them the Internet just started working again and they got their tickets. I went to the concession stand and wanted an icee. That wasn't working so I was going to get a Coke. The Coke was out so I got Mello Yellow. I made it into the theater and the previews are already playing so I just sat in the back. The seats seem fairly new but we're barely wide enough for me to sit in. I am a size 18 jeans so big but not that big. One of the previews was for a movie that came out last spring. The movie finally started and IDK if it was upstairs or on the roof or what but there was what sounded like scooting furniture and drilling during the ENTIRE movie. I went out to the lobby to see if i could ask them to have the ruckus stop for the movie but there wasn't a single employee to be found. I went back inside and the only other 3 people in there got up and left because they couldn't hear the movie. I was determined to stay since I don't have the money to go see the movie again. Of course after drinking my soda, my bladder was about to pop. When the movie ended I quickly headed to the restroom and guess what??? The restroom was closed for cleaning. Who closes the restroom just as a movie let's out?? I went around the sign and went in anyway. The poor girl was in there cleaning the sink which was about the only clean spot in there. I feel sorry for the employees because it isn't their fault the place is like this. Literally, the worst movie experience in my 53 years of life. Now I know why the parking lot was empty...

However, after the movie was over, we stayed to watch for any mid or post credit scenes, as they usually do with any DC or Marvel movies. Since we weren't sure if there would be anything after the mid credit scene, we continued to sit in our seats until the very end, not wanting to miss any setups for the sequel. But as the film ended, we were met with a very loud, and somewhat angry, manager yelling at us for still being there.
"Uh, can I help you?!?!" He shouted in a demanding, and slightly aggressive tone, making us feel as if we had done something wrong.
With that attitude he huffed and turned away, seemingly annoyed with us for some reason... confused, we all left as quickly as possible, not appreciating the lack of professionalism and finesse of the would-be manager.
What could have simply been a "Hey guys, we're closing up" was instead a rude and irritated employee yelling at us for staying through the credits.
Not a great candidate for management, and the first and only unfriendly person I've encountered in this city.
Maybe he was tired, maybe he just had a bad day... Regardless, he did not handle it well, and decided to take it out on paying customers.
Just thought you ought to know, seeing how this has been my only bad experience at this theatre. Next time we want to see a movie, I think we'll go to a different theatre in a surrounding city.. at least it'll be worth the drive to not be scalded by a bitter and irritable employee...
Read moreI’m giving a 3 star rating and I’m probably being generous. We went yesterday to see the new jackass forever movie and I will say we seen the new game area that was nice! Now the bathrooms need updating and they need to keep soap in there but bathrooms look isn’t a big thing. Just keeping them clean is what really matters most! Anyhow our real complaint was we froze the whole time in the theater I mean it was like there was zero heat in there. The seating was horrible and uncomfortable I just feel like they should of focused on the areas most people are gonna use . You go to a movie you want to be comfortable ( I would gladly pay the high prices like they have for food and drinks if the seating was comfy and they didn’t freeze us out! Next time I’ll drive the extra 30 mins to a nicer theatre! If they make improvements I will gladly give them my...
