Grocery Outlet — Local services in Madras

Sometimes prices are good but be carefully and check the expiration dates I have noticed a lot of what they sell is eather about to expire or has already expired. I will never buy their bread again as it is never as fresh as their competitors yet they change the same or more. This place was great when they first opened the year before last I believe but have raised their prices on items they normally have it's kind of hit and miss on a lot of what they sell. Also on the punch card that they offer you a $10 reward if the card is full of punches is one punch per $30 spent and it takes 30 punches to fill is equal to spending $900 and I might add their are terms they don't tell you about I found out last night . When I try to use my card they told me I had to spend $30 to redeem my card the cashier told me it's written on the card and it's not. In conclusion I must say all the reviews have no complaints and I know I'm not the only one that's dissatisfied with the way things are going in that store it's too bad cuz we really need a good store in Madras to compete...

I love this store! They always have excellent quality food for amazingly low prices. My partner and I are so thankful to be able to save more and afford more food and better food. The owners of the store are very attentive, and always make sure you are having a good experience. This store is new and some the staff is still learning, so there have been some minor cashier errors here and there. When I brougt to their attention a problem I had with some price stickers not being scanned properly, the store owners went out of their way to make up the difference to me and made absolutely sure I was satisfied, and they were absolutely right. The store fills an important niche in the local grocery market. With locals and robust visitor traffic on Highway 97, it can be very busy at times, often with less than an optimal number of checkers. However, good quality products at decent prices can be found. There is a wide selection of nice wines at drinkable prices. An impressive produce selection gets daily attention. Health and fitness product selection is well-rounded and reasonably priced. Staff are generally friendly and cordial with a handful of long-time employees. A larger facility, like the Redmond store, would much better address the needs of the community and visitors. Fresh fish ready to go gets G.O. a 5-star rating...
