Consistently find a great price for regular Gas ( under $2.00 Fall 2016). ALSO great price for a gallon of whole milk. Milk price has been $2.99.( Oct 2016). Ladies Bathroom is nice. Bathroom is only a single perhaps a double. Premade Tuna sandwich was good (not cheap) with a generous ammount of tuna. Coffee was also great. Nice gentleman fixed the large coffee exactly what I wanted : HOT with lots of sugar. This location is the FIRST station on the right as you come from I-87 / I-287 onto NJ-17. google Bolla, 130 NJ-17, Mahwah, NJ 07430. 'Round trip ''detour distance" from 87/287 is about 5 miles. The highway split of 287 to NJ 17( south) is a two lane " exit" on the left; and it curves slightly to the left. Drive a bit slowly so you can move over to the right and slow down some more ( a lot) so you can turn into the gas station entrance. The entrance is just after the pumps. NJ 17 is a divided higheway with lots of gas stations some traffic lights.Generally you cannot make an ordinary U turn. The traffic signs send you to an exit on your right and over/ the highway to go the other direction. These alternate opportunities can eat up a lot of extra time and add another 5 miles or so. Therefore: When you are finished -to get back to NJ 17 and go north go out the BACK of the gas station and head north ....the direction from which you arrived...and in a few hundred feet ( not immediately) you will be able to ( forced to) loop around to your right (over) NJ 17 and travel north again. Very soon you will have lane change choices to go to 87 or 287. Be prepared to read the signs and change lanes depending on which way...
Read moreI stopped in here to watch the demolition of the Sheraton hotel and even though I couldn't park here, (had to park at the hotel next door.) I walked here to get something to eat.
I bought an empanada, and a chocolate cake, which is shown here. The empanada was unbelievably hard. I was barely able to bite off the end to get to what was inside.
The chocolate cake was so bad I had to throw it out after one bite. The chocolate inside look like a paste you use to put a wall together rather than something you would put in your mouth. The box had no expiration date on it too which makes me wonder how long it had been sitting there.
Considering how busy they were and how many people were buying that day, there's no reason why everything should not have been fresh.

Read moreThis is hands down my favorite truck stop. Place is always spotless, bathrooms have actual doors for the stalls, tons of fresh coffee and convinience items.
The best part is the food. They have a hot food bar, a Deli counter for sandwiches and wraps, breakfest, and a grab and go for fresh made sandwiches. And all of it is delicious.
If youre in a rush and can't sit down for a proper meal, tell the deli counter guy to make you a wrap but make it so you can eat it while you drive. The guy wraps it perfect, like absolute perfection so you can eat it while your driving and not have stuff spill on you. It's awesome! Makes my job so much easier.
There's very few truck stops left like this in the country, wish more of...
