I am not able to comprehend how this place has 5 stars, other than if they are paying to remove low reviews. This place was by far the worst bar I’ve been to in my life. There were six of us there - and we had to return two drinks due to how poorly made and disgusting they were, including the Spicy Margarita. After that drink, the bartender came over to ask me why it was returning, in which I said “it tasted like watered down lemon juice and not on person at this table thinks this tastes right” and her response was “well we measure all of our liquor so why don’t I just make it a double for you” and was so adamant about me getting a double for my next cocktail, even though I just wanted one to taste good.
The food we ordered - Seafood Platter and Fried Food Platter - was disgusting. Nothing tasted like it should, the fried batter was extremely under fried on the seafood and over fried on the sampler, and it took them a grand total of just a few minutes it make all the food - it seemed like it was just microwaved.
Additionally, this place just gave off really weird vibes. It did not feel welcoming or comfortable to be in and our group very much wanted to leave. This was a horrible place for our happy hour - we immediately left to go to Shannon Rose afterwards and had a substantially better time there.
Will not recommend to anyone. This place needs to close down and figure things out. But it will likely just rebrand again and everyone will pretend it’s good. I’d argue that most of the pictures and “5-star” reviews are fake and generated to make this place look right, but it shouldn’t be. But if my review gets deleted in a few days, we will know exactly what tactics this disgusting bar and restaurant uses to parade around as a 5-star front.
I don’t often leave bad reviews - I only review places when I feel as if they deserve praise… but I feel as if I must warn people about this incredibly...
Read moreI came to Booyah! on a Friday night not really knowing what to expect, and I left wishing I had discovered this spot sooner. From the moment I walked in, the place had this playful, throwback vibe—music from the 90s and early 2000s playing, walls full of fun touches that made it feel different from the typical bar/restaurant.
The food honestly surprised me. I went with the Chicken & Waffles while a friend tried the Pasta Carbonara, and both dishes came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. It wasn’t just “bar food”—you could tell the kitchen really puts some love into what they’re serving. We split a Nutella Pizza Pie for dessert and that sealed the deal.
But the part that really made the night memorable was the entertainment. Instead of just dinner and drinks, there was a comedy show happening in the back, and it completely changed the energy of the evening. We were laughing, eating, sipping on cocktails, and it all blended together into a night that felt more like an experience than just going out to eat. I found out they also do murder mystery dinners, trivia, karaoke, and live music—so every visit can be a little different.
Booyah! is the kind of place you go when you want more than just a meal. It’s dinner, drinks, and entertainment wrapped up in one. I’ve already told a few friends that this is going to be our new go-to when we’re looking for something fun to do without driving...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were staying at the hotel on a work visit and this was our go-to spot for all things food and drink!
The place is wide open, plenty of seats, easy exit doors and plenty of parking in the back. Huge bar counter and great staff. The outdoor seating is very nice too—it has seats in the sun and a bar-top to sit at in the shade. It was perfect for grabbing a quick lunch on a hot day.
All week we visited the staff and were greeted with nothing but kindness and great conversation. I cannot thank Scott and Jovan enough for being such great waiters. It’s not everyday that you feel comfortable at the bar!
Food came out quickly every time and it was nothing short of great. Our drinks were made to perfection and they know how to keep them coming! Just ask for the remote if you want to watch something, there are plenty of tvs to choose from and the playlists are always a throwback.
The vibe overall was chill and quiet, and I felt just as comfortable there as I did in my hotel room. Half of the time I just stayed downstairs and hung out. The lobby or the gym is a nice place to hang out too.
If you wanna feel comfortable while you dine, make sure you stop by this place. You’ll leave with a satiated hunger and a sigh of relief for sure. Maybe you’ll leave making a couple friends too!
Thanks for everything! I would definitely stop by again on my next trip...
