I dropped off my wedding ring set to be repaired, when I went to pick it up I realized immediately that something was wrong! One of the rings they gave me was bigger and it just was not my ring! Allthough it was beautiful it just didn't feel right. When I questioned the jeweler she said it is my ring, it feels bigger because it was cold outside and my fingers were not as swollen?... and it is clean now so it looks different. I let her convince me until I got into my car and looked for pictures of my actual ring. When I found the pictures i realized that my instincts were right. My heart sank and my whole world flipped upside down. I went back to the jeweler telling the lady that was not my ring, both her and her husband were in denial. Instead of saying let us look into it, they were in total denial and acted as if I was crazy. When I showed them the picture of my actual ring the husband finally gave in and started to look more into it. He pulled my actual ring from the back of the desk and showed it to me. They then apologized and kept telling me this never happened before.. They sure did give me either someone elses wedding band, or one of them misplaced my ring and thought replacing it with a similar ring would do the trick... to me my wedding band means a lot! No matter how much bigger the diamond was on the ring they gave me, it meant nothing because that was not the ring my husband had worked so hard for to get for me. It was not the ring that symbolized my marriage! At the end of the day wedding bands have big meanings, but these people did not understand that!! I did get reimbursed, but it was not worth the stress or the tears.

Here is a tip in regards to your response, if you do make a mistake again which you will eventually "due to human error" instead of calling your customer telling them their wedding ring set is ready to be picked up, and how beautiful the rings look now, be honest with the next customer and let them know immediately because we are all humans and we all make mistakes. Be completely honest! Don't hand over a engagement ring as completed work and have the customer find out through another jeweler that the stone is still loose and has not even been touched! Don't try to replace their wedding band with a ring that looks similar because you lost theirs and convince them that it is their ring but deep inside you know the truth! Yes I do know about human error I am human too! But owning up to my mistake is what I would do if I wanted to keep...

Horrible service. Do not go here for anything! I came in to have my watch battery changed. The woman employee took my watch and began to try and take off the back of the watch to change the battery. After a few minutes she handed me the watch and said that it could not be serviced because there was no crown. She lost the crown in the watch, scratched the back of the watch, lost the crown of my watch, and then tried to lie and say the watch did not have the crown when I handed it to her. After taking this matter to the Niles Police department Candlelight Jewelers told me they would fix the watch but because of their lack of knowledge put me in contact with another business (MJ Watch Service) to fix the watch. I went to MJ Watch Service and they told me they would order a new crown. After waiting a month for a new crown for the watch I called and they told me it hadn’t arrived yet. I waited and waited. I called monthly for 6 months and it became apparent that Candlelight Jewelers and MJ Watch Service were illegitimate businesses that scam their customers. I never received a new crown and my watch does not work. Stay away from these businesses! Beware of this business and it’s shady practices. Go to a reputable and honest establishment. 0...

Laury was absolutely incredible. Candlelight jewelers was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine. I could not have been more happy with my decision to go to Laury. From the first time discussing what I wanted in regards to an engagement ring for my girlfriend he was extremely helpful. I was able to describe sort of the type of diamond that I wanted and my budget. I was then able to see a couple lose diamonds and my sister helped pick the right one. Then we went through the setting and the stones on the setting are incredible. After this I even choose the metal of the prong, I felt very involved in the process and felt as if I had created this incredible ring. Lastly I received some 3D images of what the ring would look like before he started making it for me. My girlfriend was ecstatic when she received it and all our friends and family have been raving about it. We are most definitely customers for life....
