If I could give infinite stars for Rebecca Rose Fine Portraits, I absolutely would!

I had seen an advertisement for a gifted couples/pet session and portrait opportunity and decided to try my luck and give it a shot. And soon enough I was chosen! I don’t usually get a prize like this and I’m going to tell you, every little detail of this shoot was absolutely worth it. The information and communication was very informative and I was blown away by their video explanations and guides. I had the impression that they take every little detail seriously, and this was already before our shoot!

Upon arriving at the Maitland studio we were greeted by Jackie with a kind smile, warm welcome, and lead to a comfortable changing room to help us touch up before our shoot. We were given chocolates and two flutes of cider to celebrate. My partner and I discussed just how beautiful the display portraits were and how nervous we were.

We appreciated that Jackie and Vi (our photographer) asked us to help acclimate our cat to the studio with ample enough time before the shoot even though our little Nami is an adventurous girl, we were nervous she would’ve been anxious around the equipment, but she loved it! And the treats!

The whole shoot was wonderful, they made both my partner and I feel beautiful and absolutely comfortable the entire session. The energy of their mastery and artistry felt so perfect, I don’t think I’ve ever had such an amazing photo shoot at a studio before! They showed us their portraits sizing gallery and informed us of their prices which seem steep, but when you get your reveal, it’s hard not to say 1000% yes to the investment.

We waited a few days to get our reveal which had me so anxious to finally see them. Scheduling them for Valentine’s Day was the best choice as this one was probably our most memorable yet. Taking into account that we were trying to recreate our high school prom photo to celebrate our 16 years together and listening in on our story, Yanique had me crying at their beautifully crafted slideshow and helping us choose our gifted portrait. Since my partner and I have been going through a financial hardship, she worked together with us to find the best value for our gifted portrait and the rest of our shoot, cause we could not just pick ONE! This was a very tough decision, because they were magical! Luckily we were able to work out a great deal and put the rest of our photos on a payment plan with their help! Rebecca Rose Fine Arts Portraits REALLY are what they say! An absolute work of art and mastery! I cannot wait to receive our portrait from Scotland! And cannot stop swooning over our digitals!!

It was a good experience until it came to my photo review I take my 5 stars back I wish I had read other reviews that had the same thing happen If you won the “free giveaway” pet portrait off Facebook but found out that really wasn’t the case too good to be true so don’t do it if you think you are getting your pictures done for free and your “free” art portrait if you win the giveaway we were told it was free the whole time and there “WERE SUPPOSED TO BE” in quotes upgrades / packages you could do IF YOU WANTED TO but that was up to you so keep in mind we had NO budget discussed we wanted to spend because we didn’t think it was necessary since we were told it was a “free portrait giveaway” since it was our first portrait session but also now our last portrait experience at this place we won’t be back! Once we were in the zoom call and weren’t interested in spending 3k-5k even more… there was some attitude involved you could tell that should’ve been our hint to hang up. You get a quick slideshow of your pictures then expect the rest of the call to be ALL about money and be told your pictures get deleted RIGHT away after the call apparently so pay up now or nothing but yet they ask to use your pictures for there own advertising heck no! You get asked what’s in your price range and right after if it’s not in your price range don’t worry it all can be financed /payment plans as they say 😂 Always trust your gut. this wasn’t just a free giveaway as they mentioned “oh just in exchange you put your word of mouth out for us to friends family etc” for your free portrait like mentioned this WAS NOT the case. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish!

From the moment we booked our session, the level of service and care we received was outstanding. The concierge team stayed in touch leading up to our appointment—sending helpful reminders, tips, and making sure we knew exactly what to expect. It was such a comfort knowing we were in great hands even before we arrived.

When we got to the studio, we were warmly greeted and offered sparkling water or cider (yes, please!). The lobby was beautiful, and we were ushered into our own private prep room—our little “home base” for the shoot—which made everything feel so personal and comfortable.

Our session team was phenomenal. Kaylee, our photographer, and Ivana, who helped manage our dogs (and their diva moments!), were beyond amazing. They were patient, professional, and made the entire shoot fun and relaxed. The way they interacted with our dogs was just the sweetest—gentle, kind, and so understanding. And the photos… I can already tell they’re going to be magical.

The studio is stocked with the cutest props—tiaras, flower crowns, tuxedos—you name it. We brought some of our own items, and they were happy to help coordinate everything. Nothing felt rushed. They genuinely wanted everything to be perfect.

Even as we were leaving, they took the time to schedule our photo reveal, handed us a sweet little gift, and made sure we had water for the road. Every single touchpoint was thoughtful and elevated.

I can’t recommend this studio highly enough. Kaylee and Ivana—thank you for making us (and our pups!) feel like stars. We’re already counting down...
