This was by far the worst furniture buying experience ever! I purchased a very expensive custom chair which finally was delivered 8 months later. OMG what a disappointment, the stitching was uneven throughout the whole chair so they ordered me a new one. That chair came in and to say the least I had the service guys come out for issues with the chair 8 times and they would fix one issue just to create another. During a visit the service guy put the top of the chair with metal at the bottom on my recently installed hardwood floor and slid up scratching my floor- what a disgrace! Customer service has been horrible throughout the entire process- store manager was very unprofessional! I finally had to return the chair a year and a half later as they couldn’t fix it properly. I highly recommend you don’t shop the Manchester NH location as they are independent and there is no support from a corporate branch due to their independently owned status. Just to clarify their products are not quality products I visited their Nashua store and sat in a dozen different chairs and all had noises, were clunky and very poorly made!reply from owners response: I was rudely offered 2 options for the damage to my $10,000.00 newly installed hardwood floor and that was to go with your flooring contractor who clearly told me that the fix would be noticeable or to take $600.00 and find a contractor of my own. So if that is good customer service in your experience then you should revisit what good customer service should look like. I posted this review because I want potential customers to know what to expect from your quality and customer experience and in my experience you’re lacking in both! Your management staff ignored my calls for months and pushed me on to other personnel trying to avoid having to deal with the issues! I would never want someone to experience what I went through! Thank you for...
Read moreAfter reviewing some options for recliners, my mind always went back to la-z-boy. Household name of course, when you think of a recliner, you think la-z-boy.
My main intended use was to get a recliner I could use for WFH, having a monitor arm on the side that I could tilt while reclined. So off I went to the store! I had emailed a day prior with the chair I wanted and color and expected to just order and be done. I walked in and Rebecca grabbed me, and I was pleasantly surprised she remembered my name, what chair I wanted and the color. I can't even get a car salesman to remember the car I asked about on the phone an hour prior.
Anyways, she was super nice and I didn't feel rushed at all, or persuaded to buy a more expensive chair. Instead, she had me try a bunch and we settled on a different chair than I originally wanted, and that one ended up being too short for me! Thank god she had me try them all out. She even had me sit in many with different options, leathers etc to really feel confident in my decision. She was also able to answer all my questions without a "Hmmm, I don't know!". She knew the product she was selling. I settled on the Kodie in tobacco and couldn't be happier.
Of course, typical racket with the leather protection package being offered and the better cushion but that was essentially the only "extras" offered to me besides delivery. I refused the protection package and added the better cushion and it was just a simple "Okay!" instead of strong arming me to re consider. I love it. Paid for the chair and left. Rebecca was awesome and I was just so impressed she wanted me to really be happy with my choice instead of just pushing for a quick sale. I'm excited...
Read moreI had been researching for a recliner that would help me with being able to find comfort whether sitting, reclining, sleeping and or watching tv etc and when I called this store in Manchester, NH, I was greeted by Rebecca (a very knowledgeable and helpful sales consultant!) she was able to guide me towards the power Redwood Rocker with lumbar, head adjustment, feature packed wireless remote and USB port... All very good and desired functionality! I am not particularly tall/big but at 6' I took her suggestion of the larger size for higher back, broader sest and longer footrest and I could not be happier! I came so close to making the mistake of ordering without talking them first... Fortunately I called and Rebecca was able to put me in a recliner that allows me the room and most importantly, the ability to micro-adjust all for my back lumbar, my head tilt depending on angle of recline and this is EXACTLY what I needed but didn't realize until talking to Rebecca! I recommend this store and Rebecca very highly and I am VERY appreciative of everything she did to get me in it so quickly! Thank you very much for your excellent support, guidance and...
