Worse experience ever!!
Came in one night with my girlfriend and started feeling really hot after being seated and drinks was already been served. So I took the order to go and forgotten to leave a tip and the rest of my belongings was left at the table. I walked up to our server James to leave a tip on the bill and his back was facing me and didn't know I was standing there waiting to speak to him. While I was waiting to get his attention James had started talking trash about me to another gentleman who looked higher up management by the way he was dressed. The other man immediately walked away into the kitchen as soon he realized it was me James was talking about and left James there alone still talking trash about me still not knowing I was standing right there hearing it all. He turned around and was shocked to see me and I still left a tip because it was the right thing to do. I honestly did not feel he deserved it after that but the dude seem pretty upset not getting a tip..... so took my things and left. Got home to find out my steak was not well done as I requested it instead it was gushing pink. I called to speak to someone who said he was a assistant manager and could not refund me because that was a job for the manager. Left my contact information and it's now been 4 day's. Tried calling back to speak to the manager about a refund and the host who was very nosy to why I was calling to speak with a manager told me she couldn't leave her post to get a manager and had people waiting to be seated. Took my information still no response. It's safe to say now there avoiding me. Horrible experience Longhorn was not what I thought it to be and this is far the worse experience I ever had. Never coming here again and I won't recommend it to anyone I know. Longhorn is unprofessional from the host, Waitresses all the way up to the management team....

It was 15 minutes after we’d been seated before we even saw our server (Beverly), then ANOTHER 15 minutes before we got drinks - I’d asked for a drink and a water, she didn’t bring the water, or a straw for the drink. It was another 10 minutes before the water came and she acted like I was imposing on her when I asked for a straw. She drops off the bread with soaking wet plates and if y’all know the cloth napkins they use, pretty much just pushes the water around. Didn’t realize I came to Longhorn to do dishes. 🙄 The food finally comes (and it’s phenomenal, like really that’s the only thing that saved this visit), and we only see her once briefly when she asks AS SHE’S PASSING THE TABLE “how’s everything, good?” and is gone before I can even answer her. She never came back. I was intending to place a to-go order and was close to submitting the order online before I finally got up and asked the host which was faster. The server from the next section advises us against placing the order online and goes off to find the server. Beverly then shows up and goes, “oh, you want a to-go order?” Takes the order (I make sure to request boxes for the orders we’d had already) and leaves. No plate clearing. No asking if we wanted dessert, another drink, more coffee, nada. Drops off the boxes yet another 10 minutes later and says she’s putting a rush on the to-go order. Well golly gee, how kind of you.
Seriously the only reason I would EVER come back here is the food was THAT good. A word of advice? Bring a dish towel and your own drinks. You...
Read moreI had a bad experience the last time I was at a longhorn steakhouse (different location), so I was skeptical about coming, but a different family member really wanted to go. The call ahead seating, while required a few phone calls, worked well and we didn't need to wait long once we actually arrived for our time slot. The food was a lot better than my prior experience - the ribeye I had was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Their salad was also fresh and delicious. Our server was really nice and attentive, brought our food promptly, and was great about drink refills and other needs.
Where they lost points was where the hostess sat us. We were a party of 6, and when I initially called for call ahead seating, they said it would be an hour wait. A half hour later or so, I found out one of our members would need more time, so I called again to adjust our reservation. At that time they said it was becoming very busy, and it would be an additional 2 hours. That was ok with us. However, when we did finally arrive, they sat us at a booth that was obviously meant to have a maximum of 5 people at the table, so we were very snug and I was quite uncomfortable during the meal due to the space issues.
