My favorite liquor store in Manchester very friendly and knowledgeable employees. Gary can provide beer, wine, or liquor recommendations to suit any taste. Ranging from double IPAs, barrel-aged stouts, and sours, he has given me personally at least a dozen different recommendations - all of which I have enjoyed enough to purchase again in return visits. He has also recommended a number good wines to me. If you like a relatively well-known brand of wine, he can likely find you a higher quality alternative of similar nature that is also lower in price. He taught me that the price of bottle of wine often says nothing in regards to how good it is. I used to drink Yellow Tail, but he has since shown me genuinely superior alternatives for each style that they produce which I had purchased previously. He has even turned me on to some lesser known but nonetheless delicious flavored vodkas. Despite that this is not the biggest liquor store in Manchester, it absolutely always has a wonderful variety of beer, wine, and liquor that includes cold Sea Hag, Resin, Sip of Sunshine, and Karmic Daaru's Space Comet Sitra always on deck - the latter three of which are also always available as singles alongside their rotating selection of other fantastic singles. At any given point in time, their rotating selection of singles includes at least one (usually several) of the following varieties: Imperial stout, single, double, and triple IPA, imperial Belgian, and sour beer. This is my go-to stop if I'm looking for a single high quality beer. As far as big bottles go, they have most of the Clown Shoes lineup, Stone, every brand of CT-brewed beer that is available, and other familiar faces as well as a whole slew of differnt types of sour beer. Some of the more rare beers can cost as much as $10 a bottle, but when I have the money to spare, I never regret spending it as all of the expensive beer they order lives up to its reputation and cost. In addition to also having a good variety of different wines, they of course have every brand and type of liquor that one could be looking for. Furthermore, they are always open until 10 p.m. every weeknight as ss b"well as being knowledgeable, all of the staff members are also super friendly and helpful. They even once jumped my car when the battery was having problems. I didn't even have to ask - they observed my predicament through the front windows and came out with jumper cables in-hand. Ali in all, this is easily my favorite liquor store in the...
Read moreThis place has an excellent selection of craft beer, and it's refrigerated, which is nice. Unfortunately, I was looking for European beer, which the selection was more limited. It appeared there was a great selection of wine and liquor. Here are the problems I experienced: The place seemed kind of messy - open packs of beer stacked up and on the floor, not in any order. They sell single beers, but no empty 6 packs to build your own 6 pack. The cashier had trouble ringing up my single beers, it was registering as a 4 or 6 pack. The beer cave doesn't really have more beer, it's just the back side of the refrigerators. I walked right past the cave and didn't even see it for a while and wandered around the back. The system crashed and my card didn't work. The cashier said there was an atm, which I didn't find while she was on the phone with the owner. At least one of the two cashier's didn't seem knowledgable or interested in the...
Read moreCalled these guys 3 Times day of BC release. Each time they said they would have it in in a couple hours. Finally made it there and they refused to sell what they had. Huge waste of time.
No one bothers selling regular BC online lol. If you really want to find it, you can. (I did). What’s poor customer service is drawing people to your store, saying you have a product and then refusing to sell it to them once...
