Felt uncomfortable, will not go back. I wanted a tamale plate so I could try the tamales before ordering several dozen. No, you have to buy an entire dozen. I assure you, if they would open a dozen they would go quickly during the lunch rush. Lady behind the counter didn’t speak any English and nothing was labeled! I had no idea what anything was. I have read all the reviews about how nice and helpful all the employees are and that they are bilingual??? Not my experience, went around the corner to Guadalajara restaurant and was greeting in English, got my tamale plate and ordered several dozen for Christmas. Always a good experience there. Poor service, several times meat are bad and I don’t like to complain but yesterday Saturday the chicharrón was bad, went out of town and called to let the then know about it and the cashier was rude, I told him I was going back the next day and when my husband went back to return it they only gave him partial of amount paid, we should get our full money back, we couldn’t even eat it and we bring back almost all of it, I paid almost 16 and we only got 11. Not big of a difference but if I call health department that will be bad for the store! This place has the worst customer service you can imagine. They don’t greet you as you go in, they don’t ask if you’re needing anything, they don’t thank you once you pay, they pretty much ignore you. The majority of the butchers are younger guys that cuss up a storm and talk about clients as they walk away. On top of that, there’s been several times I’ve witnessed people getting overcharged and they don’t even apologize. I stopped going here and started going to Hacienda Meat Market.
