Mission Ridge Plaza — Local services in Manteca

Hey! Hey! Hey! Wadda-u-say. Yo gang it's me(Mike) again and on the road. This time I'm on a last second mission and yes it's another Wally(WalMart)!! I know some has seen my name hangin' here and there but dont seem to go outside that you know, circle. Of comfort kind. But skip that, this is to be an informative and a let you know on the "haps" on places that you can stop, shop, play 'n stay and rest areas whether your cruising down the interstate(going no where) o4 draggin' it down that ol' frontage road. But here at this WalMart and many other WalMarts up and down The San Joaquin Valley you'll notice how all these stores are strategically placed. The Mission Ridge Plaza is uniquely placed within so m any different sit down, run and gun on the go pick be up restaraunts that you can eat and go practically in any direction from this location. So when in Maaaan-teee-caaah check'em out. Splurge a little. Go west from the 99 going towards San Francisco their's an outlet outdoor mall name brand(like in Gilroy, Ca) but smaller. Buy a car a truck an exotic and there is a Costco all just off the Manteca bypass. All this and that in Manteca!! Between 99 and Interstate 5. Be Safe. I like shopping at the walmart near my home, but when I'm visiting in manteca I've always hated going here with a passion. Once went in to exchange an item with my receipt in hand and everything. I rarely ever go exchange items so I wasnt sure how the process worked. The door greeter didnt tell me anything so I went to grab the item I wanted to exchange it for then went to customer service. Then the door greeter came up and asked if I paid for that. I had told her I am wanting to exchange it for this faultt item. She then proceeded to accuse me of stealing it. Although she clearly saw me come in with item in hand and receipt and did not bother to let me know that I had to go to customer service first to receive a sticker for my item to be exchanged. At my walmart we do not have to do this so I was very confused and frustrated, because she blatantly said I wss trying to leave without paying for the other item. Maybe it was a misunderstanding from both sides, but there is still fault in the customer service that was presented poorly here. I did end up being able to exchange my items through customer service. I also did contact a manager who didnt seem to care so I contacted corporate and am not sure if this problem was presented...

Thankfully Walmart returned the eggs cheese and lunch meat back to their original places and put the cases of beer back to their place in the liquor aisle. Why they thought that was a good idea is a total mystery but luckily it didn't last long. Last time I shopped there many of the shelves were empty and in general prices just keep going up up up. I'm not sure how much longer I will continue to shop there because the whole reason I shopped there was to save money. I still use their pharmacy and the people who work there are still pretty nice. Walmart is definitely becoming less attractive as they can't keep their shelves stocked and their prices are not as competitive. The deli is pricey now, so I am far less likely to pick something up there. Overall I'd say the store...
