M&M Hardware — Local services in Manvel

A day or two before Thanksgiving I found myself in need of getting some lumber cut. I did my normal google search. I called M&M (mistakenly thinking all the while that is was a lumber yard). They patched me over to Junior. I explained my situation of needing some simple lumber cuts and he immediately said SURE I WILL HELP- NO PROBLEM. Upon arrival... I must admit I was a bit confused. This was not the lumber yard that I had envisioned 😖... it was a hardware store. (My google search= fail ) Junior said pull around back and with a smile-he made our cuts. Moral of the story- There are still kind and helpful people in this world and on that day Junior gave us a glimpse at his giving spirit. Based on the store's speciality business, Junior did not have to help us but he did and we are grateful. My dad and I were able to finish building my outdoor furniture without further delay. In the middle of a delivery an hour away from work, the front panel of the company’s delivery car started to flap so I just needed basic duct tape to hold it in place.

I’d never been out that way so didn’t know where anything was and this was the closest hardware store. The young guy in the front was very attentive. Soon as I walked in, he walked over to me and asked if I needed help, got me the duct tape I needed and I was on my way.

The greatest part about it aside from the customer service is that they have Apple Pay!! (and Venmo and other ones too) Thats awesome to see. ☺️

My husband bought a GFCI receptacle. When purchasing it was not told returns were not possible, there were no signs stating that and it is not anywhere on the receipt or on their website. He came in to return it and wasn’t immediately told they don’t accept returns but only after the box was opened and the receptacle was looked at (which is still brand new and not used) only then he was told they don’t accept returns on electrical products.
