Please read this this before going to this location. This was my second time using a M Heath clinic, the first was to get glasses, waited an additional 20 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, that was at the other maple grove location. So that must be a normal occurrence since I also waited an additional 20 minutes to be seen for my physical. I am honestly not that familiar with how things are ran in a typical doctors office, but I would typically expect more professionalism. I came in to take a physical. Didn’t let me take any x-rays or offer me any thing really, out side of a basic panel. That’s it. Which is all probably fairly normal, but then this lab tech that could barely pronounce English, drew my blood, and that was clearly bad judgment on my part. I have the easiest veins to hit in the world and she still managed to bruise the hell out of them. (See picture for info) I can’t imagine what she is doing to the elderly who are twice my age. I definitely will not be returning there or any other M Heath. These places are a joke. Take it from my experience, and just go anywhere else. Disclaimer *I use an alias to protect my anonymity.

I just stopped in, on 4/30/25 @ 340pm. I only needed a blood lab. The front desk confirmed I was there for blood work, I said yes. I sat down, and was immediately called back. The lab Woman, can't remember her name but she was in maroon scrubs, dark longer hair, white, and super nice! My veins are hard to get to often requires many pokes, even by awesome lab techs! She did it so I didn't feel a thing! She said she used a baby needle because of my veins. It was awwwweeessoommee! Though she thought I had urine order , which there is an order, but when I checked in at the front desk, she made no mention of it. My provider and I decided this urine was not needed. So the lab tech will cancel that order. 5 stars for the lab! Sorry that all the other reviews suck on the page. I go to Brooklyn Park or Fridley, for my actual Dr appts. Ooh! And my result is already in the system! That was like 3 min!

I called 10 days in advance to pay out of pocket for an appointment I specified. Paying out of pocket and I never received my good faith estimate. I never even got a range of an estimate for my visit literally no one gave it to me they were confused I even asked from the phone called scheduler, to arriving, the nurse, and the doctor. I never got a reminder call/text even though it was agreed that would happen. Someone in management came and apologized for the mistakes and said I’d get my good faith estimate the next day like the federal law requires and I never did. I tried to reach my doctor 2 days later about a potential allergic reaction to the prescription and got hung up on. I reached out to the manager that spoke to me, left a voicemail, and never got a call back. I rarely need to visit the doctor but had a lesion I needed checked and it was so complicated, confusing, and untrusting that I will never come to this one again. Especially when your concerned about the well being of your life while being temporarily off health insurance in America. When I asked this main office location about talking to my doctor concerning the potential allergic reaction they spoke as if they couldn’t reach them like they were in a different state or time zone when in reality they were down the hall and sent me to another line that was annoyed I had a sense of urgency to reach the doctor that saw me on my visit and hung up on me. How can it be that messy when the medical industry can cost an entire college tuition off a visit? How can you trust someone that can bill you 3, 4, 5, or 6 figures with negligence to federal law or act bewildered when asking for a estimate on a simple check up that may reveal a deeper health problem? It’s not right. My gut feeling can’t trust this. I hope I don’t experience this again...

I am in an insurance battle for over $28,000 because the Fairview referral staff members are incompetent. In May of 2019 I switched providers as I had to move for work. I received an infusion treatment that I had been receiving for years and saw my new rheumatologist. These visits ended up being denied by my insurance as they had not received referrals for these services from my previous doctors at Fairview. I messaged my old primary and asked him to resend the referrals. He put them through. My insurance never received them. After a several months of back and forth with the insurance and Fairview, I was told that the referrals could not be placed as it had been too long since I’d seen my old primary. Fine. I spent another $240 to see my old doctor (not covered by insurance as he is not my current primary) and he put through the referrals. I have a copy of the after visit summary showing that he had done so. The insurance company still did not receive the referrals from Fairview. I have direct numbers to several people at my insurance company that would gladly instruct a Fairview employee as to how to submit the referrals, but whenever I call, I can never get through and even when leaving multiple messages, I do not receive return calls. My insurance has also tried calling Fairview directly with no success. This has now been going on for over a year and is still unresolved, which is disgraceful and completely...
