Staci one of the hostess upfront was super rude to me. When my husband approached and asked for a table of 4, she told him we are not allowing for groups of 4 or more. This was after I called in and was told that we would have to wait. When I came, I told her that I had called in and no one shared that information with me. She then proceeded to ask me for prove and to show it on my phone. I have this all on record and you can see it on your surveillance! I showed her the call, she had zero response then proceeded to say I would wait more than 2 hours for a table (again) this was never explained. While she is saying all of this, she is loud, and rude. I did not raise my voice even once and she waved me away to the next hostess who took my information to put us on the waitlist. As I was giving my info, a woman arrived and she asked for a table of 4 from Stacie. Stacie met her with patience, and kindness. I was dumbfounded asked if she was going to also ask her to prove anything like I had to. I was accosted by Stacie and she proceeded to bark at me. I ignored her and moved away. She then tried to get manager to remove me, which I appreciate the tall gentleman. You can tell he is used to dealing with her issues because instead he told her calm down! Again, all of this is on YOUR footage. She is a liability waiting to happen if you keep her employed. When I came by and asked her for her name a final time before leaving she told me her name is Staci and that I can report to whoever BUT nothing will happen. So, it seems like this is typical behavior of Stacie. Stacie should find another job if she is not happy where she is working!

My roommate and I have been regulars here every Saturday for the last month since I moved to MN, and I’m honestly disappointed with the way the servers act here. Almost all of them are always checking their phones, rushing patrons to place orders & dropping checks when people are not even halfway finished with their food (myself included). I was a server for nearly 5 years & I was trained to not drop a check until the entire party finished their plate, or at least until the paying party/someone requested it (if others were still eating, regardless of 1 or separate checks). I feel like any of these are distasteful & careless moves, regardless of the notoriety of an establishment. I don’t care if it’s a 5 Star Restaurant with Michelin awarded chefs or a Taco Bell, you’re working in the food & beverage industry for a reason- to provide great service to everyone. I always tip 20%+, and my male server still received it even with the poor taste in judgement. I’m not tipping you to sit on your phone, to give me a condescending attitude or to be rushed out the door. Maybe I’m wrong and this is a policy set forth by the company. But regardless, this location is lacking in their customer service. I don’t know if I’d ever come back, and it sucks because the food is great for their price points.

Short review: Best breakfast in Maple Grove. Longer version: Many years ago you could get a buffet breakfast at a local hotel that was just stellar and would take the prize if it still existed. But OPH takes the crown now. The Maple Grove location is a large, clean establishment with a pleasant, professional staff. Despite being somewhat busy, I thought service was slow. Since this is a common problem these days due to the industry-wide staffing shortage I'm hesitant to be too critical. Two years ago I would have docked them a star. On our most recent visit the food was flawless. I ordered possibly the most perfectly cooked over-medium eggs I've ever had. Pancakes were delicious. Orange juice is fresh-squeezed which takes it to another level. the biggest surprise to me was the coffee: I don't remember it being this good. A bag of this coffee would make a nice gift for a coffee lover. Seriously. The restaurant currently has a crowdsourced rating of 2/5 ($$) for price. That's a little low I think. It's a bit pricier than other chain breakfasts like Denny's or Perkins, especially for meat sides. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but it is more expensive. I'd give it 3/5 ($$$).

Normally I would give this place a 5 star as my family and I love to eat here. However yesterday my daughter and I went for breakfast and I had my usual pumpkin pancakes as I was cutting my daughters food the waitress came by (the only time) and asked "if everything was alright", I said fine we hadnt started eatting yet. Well as I ate my pancake they were softer than usual but still yummy. When I got to my second it was still batter inside, I couldn't get anyone's attention so I ate around it, but was still soft now texture was bleck too soft on this one. Busser came to take my plate, I told her about the pancakes. A manager came over and offered to make me a fresh batch but i told her we were headed to the airport. My bill came, she only gave me a discount on my dish! I shouldn't of been charged! I paid and left upset. My advice treat your customers with better service and advise your cook staff to slow down and cook the food. Because of this I only ate 1.75 pancakes and 6 were left uneaten and I was charged 10$!

Solid breakfast choice is Maple Grove. This place is always busy, so reservation atr highly recommended, especially on the weekends. They use good quality ingredients but food is very basic in taste, hence the 3 stars. We got the cowboy omelette. Its a souffle style omelette, so very fluffy. This isn't my favorite type of omelette texture wise. Lots of meat and cheese, covered in sausage gravy. As with all their food though, it needed seasoning. We also got the eggs benedict. The eggs were cooked nicely and the hashbrowns had a nice onion taste to them. Again, pretty bland though, needed some seasoning. It doesn't seem like they even use the basic salt and pepper when they cook, which could go a very long way in helping the taste of the food here. Prices are pretty expensive consideringits just breakfast. We paid $64 with tax and tip for 2 eggs benedict and 1 cowboy omelette. We didn't get any coffee or drinks, just water. Service is always good here. Staff is friendly.

Everything was perfection! There is always on a wait if you go on a weekend, but, we found a couple seats open at the breakfast bar area and got to sit right away, we were taken care of right away with exceptional service and great conversation. My coffee topped off with the must delicious fresh whipped cream ever made, was the start of the day I needed. My daughter (she 12) said, "That was the best hot cocoa of my life!" She ordered the peanut butter pancakes with a side of sausage, while I had the cinnamon swirl pancakes with a side of bacon. "Heavenly" would be an understatement for how delicious our food was. There was plenty of left-overs to bring home for another meal. We highly recommend The Original Pancake House! Make sure you go hungry!!
