Staci one of the hostess upfront was super rude to me. When my husband approached and asked for a table of 4, she told him we are not allowing for groups of 4 or more. This was after I called in and was told that we would have to wait. When I came, I told her that I had called in and no one shared that information with me. She then proceeded to ask me for prove and to show it on my phone. I have this all on record and you can see it on your surveillance! I showed her the call, she had zero response then proceeded to say I would wait more than 2 hours for a table (again) this was never explained. While she is saying all of this, she is loud, and rude. I did not raise my voice even once and she waved me away to the next hostess who took my information to put us on the waitlist. As I was giving my info, a woman arrived and she asked for a table of 4 from Stacie. Stacie met her with patience, and kindness. I was dumbfounded asked if she was going to also ask her to prove anything like I had to. I was accosted by Stacie and she proceeded to bark at me. I ignored her and moved away. She then tried to get manager to remove me, which I appreciate the tall gentleman. You can tell he is used to dealing with her issues because instead he told her calm down! Again, all of this is on YOUR footage. She is a liability waiting to happen if you keep her employed. When I came by and asked her for her name a final time before leaving she told me her name is Staci and that I can report to whoever BUT nothing will happen. Original Pancake House has a whole mess of breakfast options for you to try, including pancakes of course. You come here twenty times and never get the same thing twice.

The original buttermilk pancakes are great, but there's nothing that makes them stand out. That's not necessarily a bad thing, there are so many ways to make a bad pancake, but not so many ways to make such a relatively basic recipe stand out.

Luckily for us they do more than that. Cinnamon swirl pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, 49er flapjacks. They have breakfast bowls as well.

On my latest visit I had the Lumberjack Bowl which includes bacon, ham, sausage, shredded hash browns, cheese, roasted sweet corn, and two basted eggs over a crumbled biscuit with sausage gravy on top. It's a lot. While very filling I don't know that I would recommend the dish to anyone, everything kind of melds together with no specific flavor note standing out. This is in contrast to the Greek breakfast bowl, which my partner got, which has olives, feta cheese, and peppers, among other things. The olives and feta cheese themselves have their own unique and contrasting flavors that stand out, and it makes a great dish.

All of that said, our service was fantastic, parking was easy, we didn't have to wait long to be seated despite going during a busy time (10am on a Sunday) and it's a nice cozy atmosphere.

Expect to pay on the higher end for a breakfast menu, my bowl was $19 and the total check for 4 people was just...

First of all, apparently you need the No Wait app in order to reduce your wait time and check in in advance.

My girlfriend and I love this specific location because of the staff most of all, but obviously the food is always spectacular.

Case in point, we were told we would have a 35-40 minute wait, which is to be expected. But then we saw several other people come in after us and get seated before us. So we started to get a little irritated, and we finally went up to the desk and asked about what was going on. They told us about the No Wait app, and how everyone who got seated before us had used that. But it was finally our turn to get seated anyway.

So we get seated, still a little irritated by what had happened, but we met our server, Penny, who instantly turned things around. He was so cheerful and made us feel so welcome and reminded us why we like this location so much. When I ordered, he recommended a gluten free Apple cinnamon waffle as a side, since he thought I would like it, and I took him up on it. I'm glad it did, because it was amazing!

We have always gotten great servers and service at this Original Pancake House, and we will continue to keep coming back because of that. It also helps that they have amazing food, lots of incredible gluten free options, egg whites, and hash browns! Now that we know about the No Wait app, we will probably come...
