My family loves Culver's. A lot. One of our favorite weekend activities is picking up Culver's, having a picnic, then stopping back at Culver's for ice cream (custard). Our typical bill is $80+. Today my wife got food for everyone, but her chicken sandwich was so rubbery she could barely bite through it, and the chicken breast was tiny. She took 1 bite without any meat, ate 1 bite, and spit out a 3rd bite because it was not edible. She went back to this store, and asked for the sandwich to be replaced with a less expensive sandwich. My wife had over half the sandwich with only a couple bites out of it, and her receipt. The cashier got the General Manager, WHO SAID NO!! When your store makes a substandard food item, and the customer can show the purchase and the issue, you replace the item and possibly offer something extra in way of apology!
So unfortunately we will not be visiting this location again, and will get delicious Culver's food and custard at a location with better customer service!!
UPDATE: I called the store to ask the manager why they wouldn't replace the item, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! She claimed my wife had only brought back a "tiny" portion of the sandwich, then hung up. I never yell or use profanity with restaurant staff, and I was very polite. My wife also said she was dismissed without any attempt at reviewing or rectifying the complaint, and didn't even look at how much of the sandwich was left or listen that a bite had been spit out and thrown away.
Photo of the sandwich as proof it wasn't "a tiny" portion being...
Read moreThere’s something to be said about the Culver’s salad. Before you start scoffing at me from behind your wall of butterburgers and cheese curds (which, mind you, I think are top notch), let me just say that the Culver’s attention to quality runs all the way to their leafy greens. For a fast food place, not only do they deliver a standout burger, but they make a more-than-respectable salad too—which I think should be talked about. The chopped grilled chicken is remarkably well cooked and seasoned. It’s the same as in their grilled chicken sandwich, and it’s better in the salad because it won’t be awkwardly sliding around between two buns. The tender, juicy cubes go really well with their cobb or cashew salad, which go above and beyond the sad standard of iceberg lettuce and manage to touch the echelons of deliciousness and wholesomeness characterized by grape tomatoes, arugula, and baby romaine. The veggies are of great quality and very satisfying together in a salad. You will feel nourished, full, and happy after eating one. If you haven’t, I really suggest you give them a try. I hope I make myself clear. All I’m saying is these salads are one of the best in the game, to be respected and enjoyed in their own right alongside the rest of the Culver’s menu. I hope more varieties are offered in the future, but of course understand that the spotlight might be on burgers for...
Read moreAbsolutely tired of how they handle the drive thru. Personally I quit going to culvers because of this, but today I went to get my mom and my niece lunch. Nothing for myself and was told to pull into the spot next to the pull. The cars in spots 2 and 3 didnt pull up when car 1 left so I was told to go around and park there. I pulled up past the spot so I could back in straight. As Im backing in, the cars in spots 2 and 3 got their food and wanted to leave so the car in spot 2 started honking and yelling at me while I was backing up despite the fact that I was only in space 1, where I was told to go. Not only do my eyes work perfectly fine and I was aware of where the other car was, I have a 360 camera and sensors all around my car, the other car was so far away that my car wasn't even beeping to tell me it was there. Yet this women decided to start beeping ans screaming at me because she wanted to pull out and my parking where I was told to go was in her way. She could have easily just pulled out and around me but she wanted to pull through spot one to get out and I was in her way. I know the restaurant is not at fault for other people's intelligence but they should be reminding people to move up as the other cars move. There has got to be a better way Restaurant also only gave me part of my order,...
