Brave Floral — Local services in Maplewood

I have been purchasing beautiful arrangements from Brave for quite some time and they are always unparalleled, beautiful, creative compositions with florals sourced from local farms which is incredible. I was planning my daughter’s Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party and struggling with how to create a child-sized branch archway for a “down the rabbit hole” moment to really tie the party together. After watching tutorials and stressing it dawned on me that Valerie (owner) and her team at Brave could do an excellent job executing this and bring her stylistic spin and did not disappoint! Valerie and Caitlin there were very responsive and did a wonderful job talking me through the process and even sketched things out for me which was so helpful to have a visual. The delivery and installation was also so smooth and seamless and they really put extra thought into the design as to how I could repurpose it after the party and take it away easily. The archway turned out fantastic and was so magical and whimsical! My daughter loved it and was so surprised and her friends all had so much fun going through it on their way to wonderland! It was just what I envisioned and added a really special element to the party. We received so many compliments. They also created a series of floral bud vases to line our tea party table and they were gorgeous and very unique and brought everything together! I 100% recommend working with Valerie and her team at Brave....

I’m reading these reviews, and I must say that I have a less than favorable opinion of the final result of my purchase. I recently purchased an arrangement that I had delivered to a home about 5 minutes from their floral shop. The woman who took my order was amenable and assured me that the $80. I was willing to spend would buy a cheerful, celebratory arrangement for my daughter in law on the occasion of a birth. She emphasized their “artistry, and assured me of their superior work. I placed the order, left, and was disappointed when I visited that night and saw the arrangement. I realize that flowers are costly, but what I was looking at, looked like something that I put together from my garden. Not impressive at all: a couple cut down to scale sun flowers, that were the “highlight” of the arrangement. They were nicely placed in what looked like a drinking glass (the size of the container ). Nothing special. If I had carried it in, rather than had it delivered, my children would have thought that I arranged it from my garden. I don’t even have words for how incredible my experience was with Brave for my wedding.

I can barely comprehend the MAGIC that was mine & my husband’s wedding. To put it bluntly, Brave knocked it out of the park. I am still in disbelief that our wedding was what it was. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the how incredible Brave was to work with, their dedication to their craft, overall professionalism & GOOD VIBE.

From the initial phone call, to site meetings, to wedding day - they were amazing. Truly. Like I don’t even have words, I feel like I could write a novel about how much I loved working with them, the flowers, the vibe, ev-er-y-thing.

I never was someone who fantasized about my wedding growing up. I did not know what it would look like, what we would want, etc. BUT when they took my vision of “red, bright, vibes”, Brave transformed it into something I couldn’t ever dream up because it was so insanely perfect.
