I’ve been in the building products industry working in the North East US my entire career. In 2021 my wife and I decided to purchase a future retirement home that required significant remodeling to sunset in Marathon. With our primary residence being 1,400 miles away my main concern was finding a reputable company that wasn’t going to stress us out through the entire process.

Anyone that has spent time in the Florida Keys knows that it is an underserved market from a retail perspective. What was very impressive to me was that D’Asign Source had it completely figured out, they are a full service design build firm that does everything in house, from architecture, project management, construction, landscaping, interior design, to supply of not only building materials, but also furniture, rugs, and window treatments. I was also impressed with each persons knowledge of the complete breadth and depth of their product offerings. This is a generational family owned business with a deep rooted customer centric culture, and a real passion for what they do. I’ve worked with many builders and contractors over the years but I’ve never come across a company that understands the gaps in their market so well and compensates for these market deficiencies to provide their customers with a turn key building or remodeling experience. You guys exceeded our expectations across the board from working through design options all the way through to delivering an outstanding finished product. Together we took what we thought was a home of our nightmares to the home of our dreams, and walking in the door to see the finished product really took our breath away. Finding the right general contractor in the Keys is a trying experience, and unfortunately we saw it all from “Key’s diseased workers”, to no shows, cost overruns and poor workmanship. We were at our wits-end when we contacted Amedeo, and from that day on you guys took care of us by actually listening to us instead of telling us what we could do. Cristina and Douglas nailed the designs and finishes with Robin, and Tony assigned Derrick to our job who took personal ownership and managed the project implementation full stop.

We absolutely love the work D’Asign Source did on our condo. Our condo had been in our family since the ‘60’s. It seriously needed a complete update and new design. Our place is small, with a perfect view of the Atlantic Ocean. Without D’Asign Source expertise, attention to detail and ethical standards we could never have completed this project.

Michelle, our designer, created a stupendous design and helped us with detailed decisions. She took a small space and applied her expertise - from a spectacular kitchen to an amazing closet area in the bedroom. I have a gorgeous kitchen and more closet space than before. She listened carefully and delivered perfectly. Franco’s business approach and professional ideas helped us feel comfortable completing this from 1,700 miles away.
