Good morning. To whom it may concern. On behalf of this letter forwarded. I would like to express my inconvenience in grief upon entering the Sunbelt Rentals office in Marathon Florida. On November 27th I entered the Sunbelt rental office in Marathon Florida. To have a stihl blower which I was s there. To be serviced for throttle sticking. Upon my entering the business. The gentleman behind the counter. Comments to another individual in shop. I didn't know we rented blowers. Suggesting I was returning my blower as his equipment. The other guy shrugged his shoulders and replied I didn't either. Both laughed with each other. At which time I butted in. Said good morning and continued to express my disbelief. I was there for service and pointed out I was never greeted or addressed with an inquiry of my visit. I was told equipment would have to be left for mechanic to check. On Dec 6th nine days later I walk in shop to inquire of my equipment having not heard from anyone. Upon my arrival I find the shop mechanic pacing on his cellular outside shop. Three guys walking around shop socializing with a young lady in store. Gentleman behind counter looks into computer and states. We haven't had a chance to look at it yet their are priorities. So I express my disbelief and upset to everyone in shop. Prior to walking out upset. I pointed out how I was addressed/treated upon my initial visit for service inquiry. Also requested a written document or service sheet from employee behind counter. Being that he took my equipment in for service but never gave me document for recieving my equipment into shop. An hour later i received a call with an estimate for parts and labor of $110. I approved throttle cable purchase and install quote. Monday on Dec 16th I return to inquire. I entered shop around 1:30pm. Mechanic is outside of store on his cellular. Gentleman at front desk expressed part just arrived this morning. Here it is on the counter. Keep in mind its 1:30pm part arrived in the am hours. I left upset and feeling discouraged again. Tuesday the 17th I was called to collect serviced blower. Upon my arrival around noon. I was billed $65 for parts, labor, and tuning of carb. Per the explanation I was given upon payment. I carry equipment to my truck put fuel in it and test start. Immediately I notice a problem. Blower is now idling up and down by itself. So i go back and show service dept. Mechanic walks up and immediately states you have a fuel problem. I replied NO you caused a problem. I was told you adjusted the carb after part replacement. It didn't have an idle or carb problem when dropped off. Now it does! Yesterday on Dec 18th I was called to be told a manager is to come to store to oversee equipment needs. It's been 3 weeks with no equipment to work. I feel like shop isn't concerned and now after 2 mechanics I'm waiting on a manager to decide how to address this mess. I would just like to express. When I initially walked in shop first time ever. I was approached by 3 men convincing me how good equipment, service, and quality is to sell me the blower. I've been back to shop after purchase to leave everytime questioning my decision/s? I will be forwarding this letter to anyone and everyone I can to Express my bad experience/s. This...
