My niece asked for a very specific bunny purse for Christmas this year. She saw it at her local indie bookstore over a year ago & they no longer have it on stock, so her parents and I took to the internet in search of a Christmas miracle. After extensive googling, I found the last one in stock on US soil at a toy store 1,000 miles away from us in Massachusetts... but the store doesn't take online orders. So I called Mud Puddle after hours last night & left a voicemail asking if I could buy it over the phone. An hour later (near 9 pm ET), Cassie from Mud Puddle texted me & said she would check her stock the next day, and if she couldn't find one in her inventory, she'd reach out to the sales reps who sold them to her to see if we can get our hands on one.

I called a week or even less before Easter and Sam and Kristen hand picked a bunch of toys and fun items our three girls, 12, 7 and 7 do their Easter baskets. I had no idea what to get them or what to do for their baskets. I gave them a budget and they took pictures of different items and divided them all out equally to give to my girls based on their interests. I paid over the phone and they dropped the toys off in an unmarked bag to our doorstop! It was amazing and lead to a very special Easter for my girls! Then we had a few birthdays that were coming up and drive by celebrations that we wanted to make special for our friends, so I called them and they gave me ideas of what I could get for each child based on their age. For a good number of years we've purchased gifts for our Grandkids, family members & all sorts of neighborhood kids. Everything that Kristen & Sam sell in their store is a good value and of excellent quality. Recently during the quarantine, we've been buying items for some kids that we don't know very well. Each selection has been a huge success because of the help we've received from them. All we do is contact the store, tell them an age, a sex, a price range and if we know of any interest the child has. Then Kristen & Sam work their magic, offer up several suggestions, even sending us a pictures of the item & help us make some kid's day a bit brighter. They can wrap the gift & have it ready for either a no contact pick up or a no contact local delivery. They even have fun stuff for adults as well.
