Farine Artisanal French Bread — Restaurant in Marblehead

Better «chocolatine» (chocolate croissant) than in France! I’m a Marbleheader, but have been living in France for several years now, not far from the Boulangerie voted “best chocolatine in Béarn”. Farine’s are better. Buttery, flaky, soft, chocolatey… c’est une turie! Mme and Mr Dedieu and their staff are also lovely, and walking past the store smells like home. I’m happy to have them around the corner while visiting family.

I feel so lucky to have this bakery in my town. It is so charming, and the croissants are absolutely divine. The brioche with jam is also a delicious breakfast treat. The owners are so kind and dedicated, and there is nothing there I wouldn’t recommend. Go early, though, as it is quite popular, and they do sell out. I cannot recommend...
