My boyfriend and I were in and I have never had such an awful experience. Our waitress was rude, talked badly about customers right in front of us, and forgot my boyfriends drink. She came over, asked how it was and I said my boyfriend never got his drink, she then said ‘yeah I tend forget a lot’ no ‘I’m sorry let me get that for you’. Then once she got it she sets it down and says ‘now how is everything?’ I refused to talk to her again. Not only that, we were there from 11:05 am until 11:40 am waiting for our food. I wanted to walk out, but my boyfriend wanted to be nice and stay. Our bill came to just under $19 and I didn’t even want to leave her the $1 left from our twenty, but at that point we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Horrid girl, extremely unpleasant. The food was definitely not worth a 35 minute wait. Oh, and I should mention, right before we left, our waitress proceeded to make fun of a couple that was trying to get in but couldn’t get the door right. Read moreWed.8/25/21 stopped here myself & fellow rider, mtrcy., that is. Had clam chowder & fish sandwich, coffee & ice water. It's an olde, olde (not quite falling down) store front, 2 story structure. Been here before so not too worried about those ancient beams & low ceiling. Friendly staff, tasty food, fair prices. Tight to find parking since the lot is at the pier area where boats dock to offload their catch of the day. Sit inside or step out to the dock where there's an open air, roof covered, small pavilion to chow down. Observed it was mostly locals coming in for lunch. Could tell by their conversation, waitress asking if they wanted the usual, and that sort of chit chat. Met the friendly local constabulary too as we parked the bikes. "No problem" he assured us, making us feel welcome as well. Marblehead, a seafarer's quaint, small town that it is, you'll find dozens of shops, & lots of marine related interests,...
