Beware of Byron the owner of Randy's TV - AKA the Used Car Salesman. He installed an antenna system for me a few years ago for about $600 +. It worked great, but a few years later a couple of channels started having problems. He came out and said it would be better to just sell me a new antenna system that is improved VS to make the repairs. (probably the only thing wrong was that the antenna had turned as you will read later). So I fell for his scam and bought another system for about $720. It worked great also for a couple years, but then again, it started having problems with a couple channels. I had Byron come out to the house to check it. All he did was do a channel scan and charged me the service call and said that sometimes those channels have problems. A couple months later I figure out the problem myself - THE ANTENNA HAD TURNED. I hired Randy's TV to come out and rotate the antenna and SECURE IT. Byron and his tech person came out and rotated it, but they TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT SECURE IT. The TV channels were all good again. Byron told me the only thing he could do was sell me another new system at about $800 !!!!!! I said NO and paid him the service call. A month later the antenna turned again. I called a different local TV antenna man and he came out. He turned my antenna and SECURED IT WITH A $5.00 STANDARD ANTENNA CLAMP !!! He charged me less than Randy's service call. The TV channels worked great again and the antenna never turned again. I took the old clamp to Byron at Randy's TV and asked why they did not secure the antenna. I expected my service call money refunded. He said he would have to get with his service tech and ask him, but his service tech was in the office right at that moment. I talked to him too. Byron took my number and said he would get back with me. He never called me back. The other TV antenna man told me that he gets a lot of jobs fixing Randy's antenna installs. We purchased a $900 antenna supposed to have a year warranty. We called several times because tv kept getting no signal so he said high school was interfering wanted to sell us an $1800 tower, no thanks. We discovered connectors outside were barely connected, when we picked it up it came unconnected. Very poor service, expensive and will not honor warranty. Would give negative stars if I could. They also cut into our security camera wires we discovered, fixed ourselves and did not confront him about that. When they disconnected the dish they just let it slide off the roof breaking one of our landscape lights. Extremely poor service!!!!!

I am responding to Randys response below because it is lies. His work is to be guaranteed, we called about the service during business hours so if he chose to come on his own time that is on him. He wanted an additional $1800 for a tower, this is a scam. As for us not knowing how to program our tv, simply not true. And I have been using tv's since the days of going out and turning the antenna and have changed with the times so I'm good there. Don't appreciate him trying to make us sound like an idiot. His antenna was cheap and flimsy. It was blowing in the wind. We have since went to a stronger bracket on our own, cost us very little and have since had no problems. He attempted to tell us Mississinewa High School was causing interference. Don't think so, no school was in and no one was there. I described what and where I needed the OTA Antenna service to go. They were really not interested unless everything (wiring/splitter) was already in place. Which most of it was but I still do not have any service in one area of my home. So a Amazon purchased window sticker antenna has been put in that room (by me). They weren't willing to investigate if I had what was necessary to do what I wanted. I asked for a detailed receipt (including make and model and warranty info of antenna) -received a generic receipt after calling (no details). Made a call to the business, the person answering the phone stated they didn't have that info, ONLY the owner has that info. (sat what??) . It was a $!000 sh*t storm. Too bad Marion doesn't have other choices besides this less than acceptable service. They are only after the BIG bucks..Forget it if you want responsive service technicians, as you won't find it at Randy's TV & Electronic Service. It was not worth the $1000.00...
