My phone suddenly came to a screeching halt on the mobile network. I tried all kinds of troubleshooting myself to no avail and finally gave up and went to this Verizon store intending to just diagnose a potential network adapter or connection issue.
Ryan graciously investigated it without making me feel like a burden and determined that my network connection had been capped after my wife exceeded the data limit on our plan (I was a little surprised by this because we had exceeded our data plan in the past and Verizon just added data to our plan in 1GB $15 increments with no noticable bandwidth throttling).
He also proposed a plan change that moved us from a 10GB monthly limit to an Unlimited Plan that would SAVE us $15/month! AND he was able to backdate the effectivity of the plan upgrade to the beginning of the current cycle thereby waiving our liability for the overage charges.
He also discovered in the historical activity on our account that my wife had recently been denied a promotional offer at another store on her new phone when hers suddenly died. She lost out on a $350 discount for her new phone and it was purchased shortly before our current cycle, so it is likely too late to get the promotion applied for her phone, but we are going to give it a try anyway as it was due to the negligence of the other store's staff.

Read moreI went to this store to get a new phone activated. The store was empty. I was the only customer there. The male worker seemed irritated immediately as I approached his desk. He told me that since the phone hadn't been purchased from that location, they wouldn't activate it for me. (I had tried to activate it myself prior to going to the store and then neither the old or new phones worked.) He told me to call Verizon. I asked how to do that since neither my new phone or old phone worked. He reluctantly made a phone call to the 800 number for me, clearly irritated the entire time.
