I bought over 6,000 dollars worth of furniture back in July, two out of the 3 pieces we purchased were delivered last night and both pieces were delivered damaged. It is one thing to wait for months for furniture to arrive (and to the manager yes I know whatâs going on in the world) but it is unacceptable and devastating to a customer who has waited patiently and spent a large sum of money to receive their items severely damaged. Either Slumberland loaded it on to their truck without making sure the items wereât damaged before sending out for delivery or it was not properly secured and protect when Slumberland put it on their truck and got damaged while out for delivery. (None of our items were in boxes or wrapped in plastic, ect.) Regardless of Covid the products you sell and deliver should arrive to your paid customers not damaged. The bedroom set has chunks of wood out of the corners of the dresser. Our sectional arrived with several ripâs in the fabric and the center section top corner and side frame is busted. Another section of the couch the back frame moves about an inch back and forth and the whole chair wobbles if you sit on it. (Iâm assuming frame is also damaged on this piece as well) oh and the tray that is under the armrests lifts up when we open...

But coming from people that own their own company ourselves, we would never leave furniture knowing we damaged it to our customers . Not once but now twice your delivery guys have damaged our sonâs dresser. What kind of people work for you ? This is not exceptable and would have never happened if the delivery would have happened at the correct delivery time when I was there. I am so disappointed, dissatisfied and I will be writing a bad review and contacting better business bureau. I drove 3 hours today for a no show on correct time to take this damaged once again.
The first dresser you wanted to marker it up and have us take it . No discount nothing. And now this one was left by the delivery guys and acted like it was no big deal. IT COSTS MONEY. It isnât our damage. It isnât like we did it.

They showed us what to look for to determine the quality we wanted in the furniture we were shopping for and helped us compare different pieces for price and quality. The sales staff were very helpful but not pushy, let us look for ourselves but were always close enough to answer any questions we had. We found a piece we liked at Slumberland and then went to 11 other furniture stores to see what they had to offer. Some of the other stores I would never buy furniture from simply because of the sales staff. In the end we purchased the piece of furniture we wanted from Slumberland because the price for the quality we wanted stood out over the 11 other furniture stores we shopped at.
